Catori. That is what my parents named me, funny enough it means Spirit. I am normally a really quiet person recently though I've had to be more social. Trying to find a job wasn't an easy task, but I need to keep trying. My mother works all day and night just to keep up with bills and food. Living paycheck to paycheck was hard on her. She became sick and had to take days off work over and over until they fired her. We couldn't afford hospital help and now we are going to lose our house.
There is a boy that lives on the rich side of town, estimating his height I would say 5'11 or 6 feet. He plays on the high school varsity football team so far the three years he has been on the team he hasn't lost a game. It's almost the end of junior year for the both of us and he confessed he had feelings for me not minutes ago.
"You like me?" was all I could say.
"Well isn't that what I said?" He replied.
"I'm sorry but can we talk later?" I needed to pack my things to get ready to go home, I live close enough to walk and it wasn't even a hard or long walk. I just wanted to get out of social interaction, I'm not used to this.
"Sure baby we can talk later." He winked at me and slapped my ass when he walked towards his car, probably to go home.. Eyes, everyone's eyes were on me. Some of the stares show jealousy and others confusion. I was the center of attention right now and I needed a way out.
"Catori, Catori!" I felt relief when I heard a familiar voice.
"Natalie you're my savior." I whisper once she had helped guide me out of the spotlight.
"Don't worry about it, we still on for tomorrow?" Tomorrow we planned to spend the night and have a girls night. I really need that right now. I smile and nod my head then I start my walk home. If I didn't use the short cut through the forest the walk would be so much longer, the forest is so beautiful. The entire place is an open area with little to no plants at the ground, just grass and tall trees. It's like a magical place you could spot a unicorn in. I laugh to myself thinking of these things. On my way up the driveway I spot my father's car and another that is unfamiliar.
'Why would he be here?' I think to myself. I haven't talked with my father in a while, not since my parents divorced. Before I could open the door I heard a conversation going on between my mother, father, and some other person.
"Please you can't do this! don't take her please!!" she screams
"Ms. Hill we are just following orders" One of the men in black suits said, their backs are turned to me so I can't be sure which one is talking.
"Kimi don't worry she will be safe and taken care of." My father, what did he do this time? I deceide to open the door and risk it. Once I was seen, my mother pleaded me to run said that it wasn't safe here. I didn't understand the situation but one thing I do know is that my mother never lies. If she says it's not safe then you better listen. I drop everything on me that could cause me to slow down, my heavy jacket as it was cold I kept my under coat. I dropped my backpack and my phone as it was in my hands and I bolted. I know these woods, they surround my house. I will get away be it by out running them or losing them in the trees.

So I need help I haven;t written in a while and I am aware that this for a first chapter is LAME!!! I need more detail but I guess it can be a teaser? Let me know what you think i can do to improve my idea.
