Naomi shot up in bed with a gasp. She was breathing heavily and in a cold sweat. She put her hand on her forehead and took a deep breath.

"What the hell... It was...a dream."

Naomi looked over to her clock on the nightstand. It was four in the morning; Friday. She still had two hours before she had to get up for school.

She whispered quietly to herself, "It couldn't have been a dream! It felt too real!"

She held her head in her hands and closed her eyes. They started to fill with tears.

"Why couldn't it had happened in real life? But it was all just a damn dream! ...Seiko..."

I'm wide awake now... Might as well just study for some of my exams and wait until it's time to go...

Naomi got up off her bed and went to her desk. She turned on the lamp and pulled some books from her bag. She sat them down on her desk and started to study.

An hour passed and Naomi was starting to get bored. She hung her head off the desk chair.

"Ugh, what should I do?"

She lifted her head up and turned to check the time.

"Five forty-five..." She mumbled to herself. "I guess I could start to get ready."

Naomi stood up and walked down the hallway to the bathroom. She proceeded to take a shower and walk back to her room fifteen minutes later. She closed her bedroom door and shuffled through her closet until she found her school uniform. She put on all of her clothes and went back to check the time.

She whispered to herself, "Six thirty."

She sighed and thought about the dream she had.

I wonder why I had a dream like that... I do like Seiko, but I've never dreamt about her. I wonder if it's okay to keep ignoring these feelings.

She looked back to the clock, almost time to leave for school. Naomi was stressed out even before the school day started. She sighed at her desk and put her head down.

She started mumbling to herself, "What should I do about Seiko? About that dream?"

She shook her head and lifted it up off her desk top. She kept checking the time over and over until it was finally seven in the morning. She shot up out of her chair and grabbed her bag. She dashed through the house and yelled a quick 'goodbye' to her mother before walking out the front door.

Just like in her dream she was greeted by a familiar face.

"Hey, Seiko!"

"Hey, Naomi, ready for school?"

Naomi nodded and started walking alongside her friend towards Kisaragi Academy.

While walking Naomi was thinking to herself, This is exactly what happened in my dream... What the hell is happening? Whatever I should just enjoy the day!

The two girls arrived at Kisaragi Academy and headed towards homeroom.

Seiko threw her hands up and started running towards the classroom, while yelling something Naomi didn't quite understand since she was lost in thought. She ran after her friend nonetheless.

They reached homeroom and sat in their everyday seats. Naomi stared out the window. A piece of paper landed on her desk and shook her from her thoughts. She looked around, picked it up, and opened it. There was writing scribbled on the small paper scrap.

She read it quietly to herself, "I need to talk to you after school, Seiko."

She looked at it for a second before she went wide-eyed.

This all happened before...

She crumpled up the piece of paper, shoved it in her pocket, and turned her attention back outside. Ms. Yui walked in right as she did so.

The day passed on like every other. Naomi waited until the bell rang. She calmly grabbed her bag and headed for the courtyard. Again, she was the first one to arrive. She waited patiently for Seiko. She heard the back door slam shut and she opened her eyes to see a nervous Seiko standing before her.

"I know you're wondering why I told you to meet me here and why I couldn't tell you in class, but you'll see why."

Seiko took a deep breath and began talking.

"Naomi, I love you."
