"What ever Mark!" You stomped your way up to you and Mark's bedroom slamming the door behind you in complete rage.
Flopping into the large bed with a fist full of covers as you stared out the window. Hot tears rolled down your face as you softly whispered "I hate you," the two of you had just got into a argument over how you didn't like how close Mark was with his friend from highschool. They were just so close and you felt that there was something going on between them. The thought of him that close to another girl made your blood boil. You hated fighting with him.
Sighing, you got up and stared out the window. You wanted to go and apologize but felt that now wasn't the time and you were a bit mad at him still. Some rain clouds started to roll in but you thought nothing if it I mean, its just rain right? Your heart stopped and your froze as you heard the sound of distant thunder. You were always afraid of thunder and lighting, usually Mark would almost instantly at your side holding you in his arms telling you that everything would be ok. But. He wasn't there.
The clouds became darker and there was a flash of lightning. Your was racing as you started to panic a bit. There was a storm coming. The only problem was that Mark wasn't there. "M- Mark?" You said shakily as you climbed into bed and closed your eyes hoping to fall asleep and that when you wake up the storm would have passed.
You were almost about to fall asleep when you heard the door open and close " I know your aren't asleep ___" he sighed and crawled into the bed the two of you shared and pulled you close to him and his arms wrapped around your waist. BOOM! You jumped as the lights flickered off and on. Mark chuckled and missed your forehead "everything's going to be ok...I'm sorry" his voice was so soft yet smooth, it calmed you a little.
"No. Its my fault" you said abruptly "I let my jealousy take over and I didn't think rationally. I'm sorry." The two of you sat in silence listening to the sound of rain hitting the window and the thunder. You felt safe in his arms. It was quiet until Mark broke the silence. "I love you. ___"
" I love you too Mark." You smiled dozing off in his loving arms.
