First I'm gonna teach you some everyday words :)
(Here are some listed and under the list i will explain a bit about the words)

Hello = Hallo

how are you? = Wie geht es dir?

no = nein

yes = ja

You = du

Okay here some explaining to the words:
To adults you DON'T say du! You say "sie"
Because in germany it is rude to say "du" to adults.

But if you are an adult you can say "du" to other adults

only say "sie" to adults if you're an kid.

to "Hallo"
You can also say "hi" or "hey" if you want but again,

DON'T say "hi" or "hey" to adults because it is rude in germany.

Only to your friends.

Say to adults "guten Tag" (Good day), "guten morgen" (good morning) or "hallo" (hello)

Okay the explaining is done.

Now I'm gonna teach you 3 other words (in english there is only 1 word for these 3 words)
the 3 words are: der, die & das

in english you say "the".
And you can't just say der House or das monkey.

every word has their own "the"
Here are some:

der Elefant (the elephant)
die Maus (the mouse)
das Haus (the house)
der Fuß (the foot)

die Giraffe (the giraffe)

das Essen (the food)

I think you understand what i mean.

I'll make a chapter where you can see which you say before the word.

Like you probally saw germans always write nouns big at the beginning.

But we write adjectives and verbs small at the beginning.

We also write sentence beginning big at the beginning of the sentence.
