5:48 PM

Rain sucks. I never really liked rainy days like most of the people who are anticipating to feel the wet splash on their skin. I'd rather break a sweat on a sunny day than having my boots get all muddy and hard to clean.

Sighing, I grabbed my luggage and headed towards the train station.
Basically, when you're in a foreign country without knowing anyone, the first sensible thing you would rationally do is to book yourself a hotel before strolling around, but my stupid ass got really hyped up about seeing the whole view of the city prior that I forgot to even check in on a hotel.

Now I'm stuck here in this train station waiting for the next ride, without knowing where to stay. Great, just great.

The train halted to a stop and everybody got to their feet and raced to the entrance. I haven't had the time to react before realizing that the train was almost full. I hurriedly went to the opening and crammed myself inside before the door closes.

I was standing besides an old man who keeps coughing in his vicinity which sadly involves me in it, so I turned to my back avoiding his dissemination of bacteria. I don't wanna be sick in a foreign country if you don't mind.

I reached for my phone and tapped the nearest hotel on my next stop. Unfortunately, the said hotel does not accommodate through online bookings but rather on the front desk only. Grumbling about being overly traditional, I slid my phone in my pockets and waited for my next destination.

7:54 PM

When I set foot outside the train it was still raining heavily and a lot of people were still looking for cover. Luckily, my luggage was made out of waterproof materials so all my belongings are safe, however I forgot to bring my umbrella.

I slammed my feet on the pavement and ran to the nearest shelter. When I got there, I googled my way to that nearest hotel and turning off the device, I ran again leaving no sign of stopping.

When I got inside the building feeling all drenched, I yelled on top of my lungs "One room please!"

I was startled to hear my voice drastically change to a male tone. Searching for the unfamiliar sound, I realize that there was a guy standing behind me also looking all wet and cold

"I got here first" demanded the strager, his voice cold that held authority

"I'm sorry sir but since she is already in front of you on the line, I guess you'll have to wait for a bit, thank you for your patience" the clerk smiled apologetically and I can feel my subconscious having a victory dance

"Good evening maam, how many rooms?" her eyes were earnestly looking at me. I answered all her questions and her fingers came flying to the keyboard

She reached out for the keys, when the telephone besides her rang.

She picked the call, and I saw her eyes grew immensely as her lips were pulled into a hard line. She sighed and put the phone down. Her eyes glanced at the irritated yet shivering man behind my back

"I'm sorry sir but there are no more rooms left available since there are only two rooms left. Unfortunately the other room can't be used due to several malfunctions" Her voice laced with sincerity.

I feel bad for the guy though, there isn't a single hotel near this one, and with the current weather no one could walk through the arctic cold

"There is no other freaking hotel near this area and I'm cold as fuck!" He balled his fist setting a grimace expression

"Considering the weather, the only solution would be if the two of you would share a room. Since there are no other vacant rooms, and your room maam is the last" the clerk eyed me, her eyes shone as if she was begging me to agree so this concern would be wrapped up.

I don't even know this guy, he coould be a murdered, a drug lord, or a maniac. The possibilities are endless

I shook my head "No, look I ordered the room for myself so I can have my privacy. I don't want to be involve in these kinds of situation"

"Look maam, we don't have any vacant rooms left and it's pouring heavily outside with no signs of stopping, its either you both take the room or let the poor guy walk on such a horrible weather" the hotel clerk sighed and grabbed the form and a key from her table

I don't want to be enclosed in the same room with someone I don't know, but thinking about the whole picture, I'd be terrible to not take him in. The guy is shaking like a leaf.

I sucked in a sharp breath contemplating whether this would be a okay or really not 'in-a-thousand-years' okay.

"Pl-please c-can I s-stay with y-you" he suddenly said. A pang of concern rushed over my spine. His trembling got worse, I looked at him and noticed he was paler than before.

I did not think twice and noded at him then instructing the clerk to deliver chicken soup to our room. I felt as though I needed to be considerate because he was shivering cold. After signing the forms, I looked over to the guy who was still shaking and helped him walk to our room.

When I opened the door, I slowly made him sit on the bed and went to the bathroom to run a hot shower. I stepped out and saw him lying on the bed his eyes closed.

"You need a hot shower to calm your trembling, I already ordered soup, it might be here in a bit" I said while walking to the bed. He didn't move, and that's when I had the opportunity to have a full look on his face.

He has a slender face and and a defined jaw, plum lips and a perfectly structured nose, his hair is jet black and kinda covers his other eye. He almost looks like a korean.

Then again, I even forgot my umbrella so I may forgot what Koreans actually look like, because this guy's face screams straight out anime.

"Hey" I lightly tapped his shoulders and he mumbled under his breath. I continued tapping him until his eyes fluttered opened, revealing his hazel eyes.

"You need to take a hot shower" I said being mesmerized by his hazel eyes. My jade ones captivating the amazing hue of eye color, and rare for a korean to have hazel eyes.

"Yeah thanks" He stood up and directly went to bathroom and shutting it.

I looked around the small room. Not bad for an overly traditional hotel. The interior has a modern touch, the painting on the wall were catchy, but there's one painting that made me look twice.

"You still need to show the goodness in you even the world is otherwise"

A knock on the door was heard. I pulled my gaze on the painting and stood up ready to receive the soup that I'm also anticipating to eat.
