"No, Ma. I'll stay a bit longer. You and Dad can go ahead. I'll book myself a grab nalang" she faked a smile assuring her mom she'll be fine.

"Okay, Beatriz! Tell us if you got back home safely" Elmer understood the need of his daughter to be alone,
"But" Det is about to say something when Elmer pull her close and whispered "She'll be fine. Let's go" and they walk towards their car.
After she hears the engine of the car moving away, the tears fall down like a hurricane.
"I thought we'll grow old together? Why do you have to leave like that"
