Chapter 8 : Snow falls again.

Two chapters the same day I know, what a surprise ! (basically the previous chapter was 3047 words long so, I split it up in two chapters !) anyways enjoy this chapter !

Jotaro his running down the street with Noriaki in his arms. The air is chilly and the sky white, tiny snowflakes are suspended in the air, frozen into place unless a certain hurried Jotaro ran into them. Time is stopped as Jotaro passes by people, to not awaken any suspicions.

God dammit ! Why am I so stupid ?! Why was I so brutal with him ?! Why didn't I just avoid the subject ?! Why am I such a douchebag ?!

Jotaro can't stop blaming himself. He feels responsible for what happened. A few minutes passes and he his finally in front of his residence of a house. He cuts through the yard, opens his sliding door and puts a still unconscious Noriaki delicately on his bed. Jotaro then pulls out his chair from under his desk and sits down, catching his breath after sprinting such a long distance.

  Jotaro observes his boyfriend's corpses lying on his bed. He is terribly pale, even more than before, the black haired man quickly pulls a blanket over Noriaki, and closes the door ; he doesn't want his redhead to catch a cold. He gets closer and puts a small kiss on his unconscious boyfriend's forehead, and gently pats his head until he realizes that since Noriaki fainted so brutally, he might had a heart attack.

   - Oh shit..." Jotaro said unconsciously.

  He puts his head above Noriaki's chest and holds his breath, trying to hear his heartbeat.

  Okay, good, his heart is still beating. He can breathe normally, I felt his chest going up and down. I really thought that he had a heart attack...

  Without him even noticing, a small tear ran down Jotaro's face. He really got scared that the love of his life died again. Just seeing Noriaki unconscious makes him incredibly worried and sad.

  It's my fault if Noriaki fainted again...I was to harsh...but I wanted to make him realize that what is going on at his home is extremely wrong, and that this issue needs to be solved quickly...Wait...what if tried to solve it ? What if he tried to defend himself but his father won against him ? ...what if his dad is another stand user and Noriaki was under his influence or something similar...No way, he knows how to defend himself right ? I saw it back in Egypt or even when he attacked me when he had a flesh bud...

  Jotaro looks at Noriaki's thin body, he never noticed something important : his body is very different from what defines as Noriaki's body. When his Noriaki had muscular shoulders, this Noriaki has less muscular shoulders, same for everything else, from his abs to his legs : he was a less beefy version of his Noriaki, a almost malnourished version...

  That's when Jotaro found out that this might not be his Noriaki. Or at least the one he knew, the one he loved and died in his arms.

  Jotaro stumbles back from the shock of what he just realized.

  - Jo-Jotaro...are you alright ? Why are you so far away ? ...what's with that face ?" Noriaki struggles to say, as he just woke up from his unconsciousness.

  Jotaro doesn't answers anything, the words are stuck in his throat, if they can be called words...Jotaro just wanted to scream. He wanted to wake up from the nightmare that this "dream" had become.
He was potentially trapped in a universe were he doesn't belong. At the same time, Jotaro realized that if this Noriaki was different from his Noriaki and therefore not the same, he didn't went back in time..no..he changed universe. Jotaro read one time about the multiverse theory. He never thought that one day he'd travel to another universe.
