I pulled away and Eddie's eyes looked up in confusion.
I pulled the guitar strap off my shoulder then focused my attention to Eddie.
I closed my eyes and placed my hand back behind Eddie's ear then leaned back in, only to be stopped by him placing his hand on my shoulder.
'Wait,'
silence
'Everything okay Eds?
'Yeah I just, um...'
'What is it?'
I got a sick feeling in my stomach. Was he straight?
'Are you even gay, Richie?'
I let out a soft laugh.
'Only for you, Spaghetti Man.'
He smiled them leaned back in with me as we felt our soft lips press against each other's.
We both got lost in the moment, the tension so thick between us.
I let go as the final bell for class went.
