Prologue

"Hex, what did we tell you about coming round these parts, eh?" A low, gruff voice rumbled.
"I- I'm sorry $+!@€£! I- I didn't mean to! H-Honestly..," The responders voice was barely above a whisper as they spoke.
"That's what you said last time! Why should I believe you, I let you go once, why should I do it again?"
"..."
"What? Got nothing to say? Not gonna defend yourself? Are you that pathetic?"
"..."
"Whatever, I don't have time for this, she's yours boys"
"No.. no please! No..."
I'm sorry

"GHOST! Get over here now!" A strong, booming voice called.
"..yes ${@£..?"
"Why isn't my nest cleaned? What's your sorry excuse this time?"
"I-I've been cleaning everyone else's too.. I just hadn't got to it yet.."
"How are you even a wild? You're so useless. Fine, whatever, leave my sights now. I expect it done by tonight."
"ok.."

"Stormy! The pups and kittens!" A panicked dog barked, upon hearing this call the young cat looked behind to see two kittens and a pup.
"Sparky! Thunder! Rock! Start coming toward me and I'll meet you! Don't go close to the edge!" The young started to move towards to voice belonging to Stormy, they could see, but not much. Stormy wasn't too far from them when she heard a rumble, knowing what was about to happen and what could happen, she jumped and shielded the young just before lightning struck, the she-cat collapsed but managed to get up and carry the young over the gaps, when she got to the makeshift dens, she collapsed and didn't get back up, "Stormy! What happened?" A panicked voice said, "It'll be okay" was all she could say before her chest stilled and her body started to stiffen.

"Tristan only has a few hours naturally,  unless you want to euthanise him no-"
"No, he's not in any pain, you said, why end his life even a few hours early" a shaky voice said,
"Alright then, you may take him home then, call us when it happens?"
"Sure.."
