When you're English like me, and you come to live in Asia, there are many different things to learn about. Like different food, different cultures, and different languages.

And different ghosts.

The truth is, there aren't as many ghosts in Australia as there are in Asia. Asia is full of ghosts - really scary ones.

Australian ghosts are usually dead bushrangers like Ned Kelly and Captain Moonlight. They keep out of everyone's way. They haunt the old prisons where they were hanged, or the lonely graveyards in small country towns where they were killed and buried in unmarked graves. There are ghosts of dead convicts too, who rattle their chains in the dark cells at midnight. People hardly ever see them.

But in Asia, there are ghosts everywhere.

You can find them in the bid modern cities, in the shopping malls, and in the jungles.

All kinds of ghosts - like the ones we found during our last school holiday.

Right, give me a round of applause because I forgot to introduce myself.

My name is Louis Tomlinson. I love looking for ghosts almost as much I love travelling to see the beautiful white sandy beaches. I was born in Doncaster, I moved to Australia and now I go to school in Asia with all my new friends.

There's Harry Styles. He's two years younger than me and comes from Cheshire. His whole family works in a bakery and they're very nice.

Then there's Niall Horan, who comes from Mulingar, Ireland. He loves sports. So does his Wolverhampton friend, Liam Payne.

"If you really want to see an Asian ghost," Liam said one day, "I can arrange it."

"How?" demanded Harry. "Nobody can see ghosts unless the ghosts want you to see them."

Liam laughed. "That's not true. A lot of our ghosts are very lonely. They're always looking for new victims."

"But are they scary?" asked Niall. "Like, do you have ghosts without heads, or ghosts with missing body parts?"

"There's a ghost under the bridge over the canal who has no hands and no head," Liam explained. "He was mutilated like you wouldn't believe!"

"Gross!" I said.

"And there's another ghost under the bridge who died in hospital during an operation," Liam enthused. "He carries his heart under one arm. You can actually see it beating!"

Harry turned down his mouth. "How revolting."

Niall's eyes lit up. "Wow! That sounds really sick. Imagine carrying your own heart! Have people seen him?"

Liam grinned. "Of course. You can actually touch his heart if you want to."

I pulled a face. "No thanks."

"Hey come on Louis," said Niall. "You're always talking about ghosts. Here's your chance to see one."

And before I could stop them, Liam and Niall had arranged to meet us near the bridge over the canal at seven o'clock on Friday night.

A/N: So! This is our second book of the 1D version of Mr Midnight. To those Larry shippers out there, Hope you love this book cause Louis and Harry are like best friends in this book.
