Zombie Apocalypse

The Beginning

It was just a normal day. I woke up, took a shower, got dressed and did my hair. My mom called for me. "Lukas, hurry up and come down and eat breakfast Becca is here too." I looked in the mirror to make sure I still look good. Becca and I grew up together. We've been best friends since we were babies.
I have had the biggest crush on her since middle school. She doesn't feel the same way. I dont think anyways. I am tall, I have bright blue ocean eyes, nicely sun kissed skin, black hair, and my frame is built. I took great care of my body for Becca. I changed into some light blue skinny jeans. And a long sleeve black v neck.
Along with some white all star converse. I grabbed my bag, and headed down stairs. "Hey, Luke" Becca said smiling brightly. "Hey, B" I felt myself blushing so I looked away. "You two are so cute!" My mom popped off smiling. "Thanks, Mrs. Love, I know right." Becca said winking at me.
"Please call me Diane, so, Becca" my mom proceeded. "Yes, Diane?" Becca asked "Do you like my son?" My mom asked. I chocked on my food and coughed. "As a matter of fact, Diane, I do, a lot." Becca smiled brightly placing her hand on my thigh. "Well, now that I know you feel the same B, would you be my girlfriend?" I asked blushing hard. "I would love to Luke" she said blushing. She was so cute when she blushes.
After we ate the breakfast mom prepared for us, which was chocolate chip pancakes, a couple pieces of bacon with toast and water, she sent us to school. I drove a black ford pickup truck. While I was driving I felt Becca's hand on my thigh again. We arrived five minutes later. There was a squat team and quarantine. We were wondering what was going on, when, a guy came sprinting at an officer, he might have been on drugs. They shot him multiple times and he still got back up and went towards the officer.
That guy ripped flesh off of him. He was a zombie! More and more like him started coming out. Everyone was screaming and running. I have to get Becca out of here! Wait where's Cole and Lilly. Right as I thought that they came running towards us. "Run!" I said we all made it to my truck.
Luckily it was already made for me just in case a breakout like this were to happen. I drove Lilly and Cole to their house and told them once they got everything to come to my house. That's when I received a panicked call by my mother and Becca received one from hers. We explained everything to them and headed on our way to my house. Will they make it on time?
