. Natalie closed her eyes and opened them in a hospital room. She winced in pain as she looked around the room to see billie, voight, in the chairs as Dr.Halstead draws blood from her arm for testing with the other connected to a IV bag. "W-what's going on" She stuttered. Looking at sympathetic faces on her girlfriend and father. Billie, Hank? She questions not noting what's going on. Dr.Halstead fills in the awkwardness.
" Ms.Winters, you were brought to the ER becaus-" "Please Will... just call me Natalie," she interrupted tiredly as she went back and lied back on the bed with her eyes closed. " okay, well Natalie um can you hear me?" Natalie nodded weakly as she closed her eyes in her hospital bed.
" Natalie, are you okay?" Billie's soft comforting concerned voice made the air thicker than it already was. She got no response but whimpered as if she was in extreme pain.Then suddenly passed out.
Halsteads face changed from awkward thin lined smile to a slowly transitioning wide eyed with an open mouth as he had concern and worry smeared over his face as he rushed to check on her vitals and ordered back up
. " Halstead '' The off duty Police Department sergeant asked worrying wondering what happened to his daughter.
" HALSTEAD" He barked louder after the doctor concerned rushed over the patient ignoringing " Voight, somethings wrong... her vitals aren't normal and she looks pale, the medications were working last time and her vitals need to be higher they aren't supposed to be this low
" The worried doctor just went on rambling. " WILL" this time it was Billie who caught his attention. "
calm down, what the hell is going on, is Natalie okay?"."Oh my god, wait a minute". He said not having a word Billie said nailed to his head. Dr. Halstead slowly added medication to her IV bag and the girlfriend and the father just stared as the doctor's eyebrows furrowed as he gently lifted Natalie's hospital sheets to see that it's been covering a pool of blood.
She passed out because of the loss of blood. Halstead got backup nurses and had to rush Natalie to the ER's surgery rooms. While Voight and EIlish were just at the loss of words.
