A long time ago, when the universe just began, powerful crystals were everywhere. They floated among the space dust and the first forming stars. These crystals had life and magic within them. They had the power to create planets and moons and all kinds of celestial bodies by attracting nearby space dust to form the rocky spheres and the gas giants. Millions of planets were created that way. They formed systems around large stars, talking to each other.

The crystals were very much alive, and had a lot to say. They named themselves, chose how their planet looked and even developed powers. But one crystal decided to do something different.
Earth always thought outside the box, never really following what the other crystals did. So she planted herself into her planet's surface, and sprouted as a huge tree.

This tree created life from its branches and what life needed to survive through its roots. The tree was beautiful. The canopy stretched for miles as it made its way around the blue and green planet, spreading life everywhere. The other crystals didn't understand why or how Earth did that. But they knew they had something special, something worth protecting.

Millions of years pasted by and the solar system lived in harmony. Until one day, Pluto spotted something along the system's edges.

It was a black hole, coming straight for them.

Black holes weren't things to be messed with. They gain their energy from eating crystals. So they swallow helpless planets and stars to become more powerful.

The solar system panicked, not knowing what to do, when Earth, suggested using their own crystals to create guardians. The planets were hesitant but decided that they had no other option, they asked Earth how it could be pulled off.

Earth explained, that if they put their crystals through the tree of life, she could use them to create the guardians and raise them on her surface until they're ready to use their crystals.

"But what about your crystal?" Venus asked.

"My crystal must remained buried, for its the seed to all life," Earth responded.

Then out of nowhere, Earth's single moon spoke up, "How about my crystal?"

"How will you protect your planet if your crystal's gone?" Mars spat.

"I'll protect Earth by producing a guardian."

"Very well, I will allow you to give me your crystal," Earth said.

All the planets gave Earth their crystals, and that day nine beautiful and powerful girls were born.
