Chapter 9 : The hall of wariors

An awkward silence as installed in the tea room of the Kujoh residence, tea and coffee served in pretty porcelain cups.

- You know Jotaro...I was starting to question why you never brought any girls home..." Holly says jokingly.

- Nori, give me one reason not to run away." Jotaro asks.

- You have nowhere to go and you're under 18 years old, meaning that you cannot legally work, therefore you can not survive without any support from an adult." Kakyoin answers, trying to reason his boyfriend.

Jotaro slams his head against the table in despair. He's going to have 'the talk' with his mother and grandfather in front of Noriaki.

- Well grandson, I am personally proud of you, you finally have someone in your life. I thought I'd never see the day." Joseph laughs loudly.

- I'm going to kill you old man...

- Jotaro please calm down, at least be happy that he is not disappointed or worst." Noriaki tries to reassure his boyfriend.

- I don't mind neither...I'm just a bit sad that I'm not getting a grandchild." Holy says.

Noriaki feels his face getting pale again and a sweat drop rolling down his face. Just the mention of "grandchild" makes him feel...weird...

- Mom, It's way too early..." Jotaro says, his face still on the wooden table.

- I know, I'm just trying to lift the tension in this room, it's so thick we can almost touch it !" Holly puts a cute smile on her face.

- Can I leave ? I need to jump of a cliff." Jotaro says with an almost serious tone.

- Geez grandson, don't be so dramatic about it ! Here, to cheer you up, I'll tell you a grandpa fact !

- No thank you, We'll be fine...

- Did you know I had a crush on my young male partner, back when I fought the Pillar men ?" Joseph cuts his grandson.

- NO WAY !" Noriaki and Holly yelled at the same time.

- I wanted to confess to him but he died before I could find the courage to tell him.

- You never told me Papa ! That's unlikely of you !" Holly borderlines shouts, surprised to learn this from her father

- Well, Mister Joestar...It reassures me to hear that you've had felling towards another man before, it means you understands us in a way..." Noriaki smile brightly.

- Well, enough of talking about your relationship. We need to talk about the fact that you skiped school.

Jotaro suddenly straightens. Noriaki feels sweat running down his face again. He know that he will need to explain why he got here, therefore explaining why he fainted, which meant explaining what is happening at home. He doesn't want others to know about his father abusing him...Jotaro knows about it and it's already more than enough. He would be in trouble if they learnt...unless if Jotaro and Noriaki lied

- Can Noriaki and I have a small talk together ?" Jotaro asks his grandfather and mother.

Yes ! Maybe Jotaro has the same Idea and wants to make up a lie with me !

- No." Joseph answers dryly.

Well...fuck, guess we'll have to improvise...

- Ok, so we were in the men's bathroom and I discovered that...

- WE WANTED TO DO IT SO WE THOUGHT WE SHOULD NOT DO IT AT SCHOOL ! SO WE WENT HERE TO HAVE SOME PRIVACY ! IMAGINE IF WE GOT CAUGHT THERE ! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TOTALLY WORST THAN SKIPPING SCHOOL HAHAHA !" Noriaki laughs nervously as he scratches the back of his head, internally cringing to what he just shouted.
