I looked up to see the same stormy eyes that used to be my main tormenter, (Now it's Lavender's insufferable nasally voice.)
"Can't you see I wanna be alone Ferret?" I said, trying to pack as much annoyance in my voice as possible, but I wasn't really in the right state of mind for a screaming match with Malfoy at the moment.
"Wow Mudblood, someone must've really rubbed you the wrong way. Even I don't seem to be annoying you right now." I hated that he was right. Honestly, I was relieved someone hadn't completely forgotten about me, even if it was Malfoy. Upon this realization a plan started to form in my mind, a plan to get revenge on my so called friends.
"Oi! Granger!", Malfoy's voice brought me out of my soon to be perfect plan. "I asked you what made the know it all Gryffindor into this sad excuse of a reject?"
I looked up, glaring at him, "Why do you care Malfoy?" I spat. Don't get me wrong, most of the time I'm a nice person, it's just that sometimes with Malfoy I get really annoyed and all of the built up anger that I have held back comes pouring out. A lot of these times I feel sorry for the ferret. Ask Harry and Ron, my rage is something you don't want to be on the wrong end of, but other time he goes to far and I honestly think that he deserves all the accusations and mean words that come pouring out of me.
"What are you planning?" He asks.
"Excuse me?" I say surprised. How did he know I was planing something?
"Well it's obvious that you're annoyed at me for being here and, from what you've already told me, you don't want the company of a certain weasel or the all too famous "Boy Who Lived", so you're mad at them, and when someone as obnoxious as you is mad they want revenge. So I ask you again, what are you planning?"
I just sat there stunned, should I tell him my plan? He knows I'm planning something, and knowing him he won't stop tormenting me until I tell him what it is. "What harm can be done by just telling him?" I think, so I decide to tell him.
"Okay Malfoy. I'll tell you what I'm planning, but you have to swear not to tell anyone." I said. He looked at me with this annoying amused expression on his pointed face.
"Okay, I promise not to tell anyone about your oh so important plan." He drawled.
I took a deep breath. "Since you're so smart you've probably already figured out that I still like Ron despite our previous break up. So earlier today me Harry and Ron were hanging out at the Three Broomsticks when Lavender and Pavarti showed up and, not very discretely started flirting with him. They even took my seat at the booth we were sitting at. So that's why I was sitting in here." I paused to take a breath and looked over at Malfoy, who had taken the seat across from me at the small table. He gestured for me to continue.
"So my plan was seeing as you and Pansy just broke up, for the fifth time I might add, that you and me should pretend to be a couple to make both of them jealous, and hopefully want us back." I finished. I looked up again. "So what do you think?" I asked.
He looked up at me, smirking. "I think it's perfect."
