A phone on the table goes off. We all look down, reading the name at the same time. Shit.☆
Lucy's POV
I tapped my foot impatiently as the phone rang. I was sitting in my car outside of my house. I had just dropped Emily off after having to completely calm her down. How dare Ashlynn say something like that? Who did she think she was?
"Uhh... hello?" the deep voice on the other side says.
"UM HELLO," I respond aggressively.
"uh, hey Lucy," Nick says before awkwardly pausing, "what's up?"
"We have a 911 emergency Nick, I need to see you before we set up for the party on Saturday."
There's a long pause again. What is his deal? I need the scoop on Zion and Ashlynn ASAP, and he is the only one who will give it to me.
Nick finally answers, in a much happier tone, "I'm in the studio right now, but maybe I can pick you up tomorrow? We can go get supplies and some ice cream or something."
"Okay great, pick me up at 1," I say in a rush and hang up.
I exhale, completely relieved. Nothing can go wrong for this party. NOTHING.
