Valien gritted her teeth as Lief is still screaming in pain It's not working! Wilhelmina went and knelt above Lief's head He got a Curse. Izanagi asked Can you remove it? You have black magic on you, right?

Wilhelmina shook her head I don't know. She looks at the others then immediately straight at Kiyan's right hand Kiyan, come here and give me a hand. A puzzled look became present on his face for a moment then she said to him through his mind He got inflicted by a Curse, only your right hand can probably remove it.

The Elves stepped away and made Wilhelmina and Kiyan take charge of Lief. As Kiyan secretly touched the curse mark, it immediately disappeared along with Lief's runic magic but it immediately took effect for Lief's scream of pain ceased, leaving him panting.

Valien asked in surprise What just happened? The two sensed that not only the curse is gone but his mana as well.

Wilhelmina replied I don't know, we were just about to do something but it seems like he's okay now. The two She-Elves looked at each other, unconvinced by their explanation. Lief barely has any strength left, Sylvana said Let's put him under a shade, that way he'll rest more comfortably.

Alexander carried him and the others carried his sword and its shards, he announced We have to back up Liliana and the others. Wilhelmina asked in concern What about him? Referring to Lief, Alexander then asked Then who will stay behind and watch over him?
