It was a new school day three weeks in the year. The sun was shining bright as the students of Brownfall High started coming onto the grounds. I stepped onto the steps of the new school, watching other kids going to their friends. Like any other school, they were in their own respected groups. The football team, were talking about the latest game and how they could improve. From there brutal loss of the rival team Summers Rise Salamaneders. The popular kids were taking selfies and posting them to their favorite social media sites. I'm guessing that most are on the student body. And the procrastinators were trying to get their homework done that was due in 2 hours. I think I heard someone mumble "Stupid English."
Yep, a normal school day. And yay me, I was sticking out like a sore thumb.
Hi, my name is Chris. I'm the new kid that just moved in yesterday. It's not too bad because school only stared a few weeks ago. But it's still hard. I don't know most people. And I tried talking to people, but I well...you'll see...
"First day of a new school with new people!" I declared. To no one in particular. And had several stares turn my way in return. The look of Who's this weido? Or the look of annoyance. I felt very awkward. That was a bad idea. A very, very bad idea."This will be ok. I hope." I did not want to do that. I did not want to do that. Know everyone thinks that I'm crazy. Why dad why?
He had told me to do that yesterday. Explaining that there's nothing to worry if you follow this phrase.
"You will fill better once you tell the world that's its going to be a good day." it sounded good at the time. But it didn't work. Agggh. That was so embarrassing. Well I guess I will try to make some friends. Oh they look nice.
" Hi-i my name is Chris. What's your name?" I said quietly. (I think I whispered now that I think about it.)
"Travis, did you see the new episode of Haikyuu yet?" Said a boy with brown spiky hair. He was taller than most of the boys in the group. With a slight tan and brown eyes.
"No. But I can't wait! The last one was so intense." Exclaimed a boy (most likely Travis) with bright blue eyes and blond hair with a streak a red. From the looks of it he was replaying a football game in his head. The kind that only had a few seconds left on the clock, and the teams were tied.
Looks like they didn't hear me.
"Are you talking about Haikyuu?"
"Yeah." Said the tall boy, with a bit of excitement. He then looked me with the look of where did you come from."Who are you?"
"Oh he's the kid that yelled about a new day." Travis chimed in.
I turned red as a tomato. I made an embarrassment of myself.
"Aaa yeah that wa-s me-e. M-making a fool of myself." Aaaaaa why did I studer. That was so bad.
They both looked at me. Trying to figure out what to say.
Yep this was awkward.
To becontinue...
