"MOOOOOOMMMM!", I yelled as I was running to her room. Pero wala sya doon. I quickly went to the living room and saw her there, sitting at a couch with her laptop on the table.

"What?! I showed her my phone with the article on it. And then she sighed.

"I told you never to use the internet.", she said.

"So you've read it? Mom, I need to come back. I need to make it clear that it wasn't me!", paliwanag ko.

"Anak, calm down.", sabi ni mom at hinila ako paupo sa katabi nyang couch. "Importante pa ba ang sinasabi nila? Kasi for me, hindi.

"No, mom. Hindi sila importante.", sagot ko. Ang totoo nyan, clearing the issue is just my excuse. "Kaya nga I stayed kahit anong issue pa about me yung dumating eh. I don't care. P-pero, mom, it's my life.

"Are you sure? You want to come back and you'll never regret it?", tanong nya sa akin. Mabilis akong umiling.

"No, mom. I promise!", sabi ko.

And I'll make sure na hindi ko sya bibiguin. I'll keep doing my best in this field!

"Let's go pack our things. "And you are...?", tanong ni mommy sa kanya.

"Mom! Uh, si Romi, remember? Kaibigan namin ni Junnie. Way back in highschool.", sabi ko. I pasted a smile on my face. I just really hope it didn't look awkward because I definitely feel awkward right now.

"Ahhh. Well, what is she doing here?", tanong ulit ni mommy.

"Uh, yes, ayun! Nag-aapply syang P.A ko! Right! Di ba, Romi?", tanong ko kay Romi. Sinubukan kong senyasan syang ngumiti pero I failed. She didn't smile even an inch. "Sorry, mom.

"Okay. Here's the deal. I'll let you stay with me while waiting for your memory to come back. Whatever. But kailangan mong maging P.A ko.", sabi ko sa kanya. She didn't respond. "P.A as in personal assistant. Alalay.", dagdag ko.

"I know what a P.A is.", sagot nya.

"Okay. Good. So you're hired.", nakangiting sabi ko.

"No.", sabi nya.

"What do you mean?", kunot-noong tanong ko sa kanya.

"Ayokong maging alalay mo.", sabi nya. Nakatingin sya ng diretso sa mga mata ko and I don't know, it feels creepy staring at her light gray eyes.

"That's the excuse I told mom about you. You have to pretend, atleast!", napipikon na sabi ko. I sigh, calming down myself. "We're going back to Quezon city tomorrow morning. You have to come and pretend to be my new P.A and then after maybe a week, you can quit."
