It's my fault

I sat in my room all alone in the dark. It was all my fault. If I wasn't there then that wouldn't have happened. 

(le flashback)

I was heading out to get some groceries from the nearby store. Nobody else wanted to do it so I was left to do it. Deku had volunteered to come with me though. So I got the shopping bag and headed out with Deku in tow. 

We didn't talk much on the way though. Just a few small little conversations that ended as quickly as they started. We made it to the store got what was on the list and headed back out. 

I had a look at the list and realized that I forgot to get something. I was feeling for mochi and wanted to get some but I forgot. So I told Deku to go along and I'll go back and get it. 

On my way to the store, I realized that it would take too long to go the normal way so I decided to go through an alleyway But what I didn't know was that someone had been watching me the whole time.

I felt a cold hand grab my arm. I reacted quickly and spun around to counter-attack. But the person dodged. I had a good look at the perp. He was wearing a blue hoodie and jeans. His hood was up so i couldn't quite see his face or his hair. But i can still remember that sinister look in his eyes.

He pulled out a knife and launched forward ready to grab me by my neck but I used the same move Gunhead showed me that I had used on Himiko Toga before. It worked. But he grinned. His quirk seemed to let him control the ground or something. I stood up quickly so that I wouldn't be hit. He leapt at me again but this time I had no moment to react. 

He was mere inches away when all I saw was a green flash and he went flying.

"Deku! I told you to wait for me!"

"It doesn't take that long to get mochi Uraraka."

We noticed the guy getting back up. His hoodie was off now and I could see his purple hair that spiked upwards. He had an angry expression on his face. 

He activated his quirk and made the ground underneath us to rise and then fall back down again causing me and Deku to fall over. He did it one more time but with the ground that was in front of us. As soon as it went back down, he was right in front of me. Then everything went black.

All I know is that I was suddenly back in my room. Recovery girl was with me and she didn't look too pleased. She told me what had happened. Deku had fought the guy but had ended up breaking more of his bones again. I remember that if he breaks his arms anymore that he may never be able to use them again. And this time. It was my fault that he has gotten closer to that.

(End of flashback)

It's been 2 days since that happened. I haven't seen Deku or anyone else besides Recovery Girl. I told her to tell Mr Aizawa that I was sick. She just nodded and said okay. 

I was really mad at myself. If it wasn't for me then Deku wouldn't have gone past his limit again. It's frustrating to think about. And all because I wanted mochi. I will never eat mochi again.

I suddenly started crying. I don't know why. But just the thought of causing Deku to have to give up on his dreams was too much for me. I couldn't stand it. I cried for a long time. 

I heard a knock on the door. I didn't know who it was so I just turned my back to the door and lied down on the floor.

I heard the door open and then close again. I thought the person was gone but I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Deku staring at me with a worried look on his face.

"Uraraka. Are you ok?" He asked.

I looked down at his arm to see the multiple scars that he had gotten in this past year and I burst into tears again.

"Deku. *sob* You're injured *sob* and it's all. *Sniff* my fault." I cried in front of him. He reached forward and hugged me. He stroked my hair which made me calm down a little. 

"It's not your fault Uraraka. You didn't  do anything wrong."

We stayed like that for a little while. Just hugging each other and making each other feel better. 

Deku is such a pleasure to be around. One of the many reasons why I can say. "I love him."

Day 2 complete! I wrote something but was unsatisfied so I deleted it and rewrote it. Again unsatisfied. Then I wrote this. Mmmm is not bad I guess. Not great either though. Anyway thanks for reading this far! Toodles! X3
