It was a quiet night. No clouds obscured the view of the masses of stars and the moon was shining brightly like a warding spirit in the sky.

It was on this night that Viridia went for a walk at the outskirts of the village. It has been two years since the cheshire incident and Fii and Viridia's relationship bloomed.

"You seem to be living the perfect life, don't you?" A strangely familiar voice asked the succubus.

Viridia turned around and was surprised to see an old acquaintance, "I didn't expect to see you here. I didn't expect to see you ever again for that matter. What brings you near my mansion after such a long time, Radames?"

"It's nothing, really. Or... No, it's everything," he said and calmly chucked a small purple stone towards Viridia.

"This stone... Isn't that the one you used against Cheshire back then?"

"It is. This is a so called bridge-item. Tell me, what do you feel?"

Viridia closed her eyes and concentrated, holding the stone in her hand, "I feel a magic aura... no... there are two of them!"

"And what do you feel now?" Radames asked after taking back the stone.

Viridia concentrated again, but this time something was different, "I only feel one magic aura now... Where did the other go?"

"More like, 'where did the other come from?'" Radames smiled, "without this item you would have stood next to no chance against Cheshire. His abilities didn't work by the same rules as yours did. The only damage you could have inflicted on him would have been be physical damage, which he tried to avoid at all cost."

"Rules... I recall Cheshire saying something similar too... What did he mean by that? You seem to know what was going on," Viridia asked curiously.

"Simple... He wasn't from this universe," Radames replied, "he came from a universe where the rules of magic were completely different. That gave him immunity to every type of magic from this world. That also meant none of his offensive spells worked, but you can see how much chaos he was able to cause without those already. He was practically a demi-god in this universe. This stone is a physical bridge between his and this universe. If he had realized that he might have even used offensive spells back then."

"From a different universe... So you're saying he was..."

"Roughly speaking, he was a dimension traveler. How he managed to do it on his own is beyond me and I simply don't care enough to find out. [even though it wouldn't even cost me a millisecond to find out]," Radames explained, "but as horrible and evil rooted as his actions were, I still admire him for that. Ever since I saw him jump from his universe to this one I had this idea in the back of my head."

"You saw him jump? Never mind. What kind of idea did you have?" Viridia asked him.

"Well... I had this idea of creating my own dimension travelers! I've seen your history and I know that you're capable of jumping dimensions too, but I could make it a lot easier for you."

"I can jump dimensions?"

"You're an arch succubus, born from two desire demons of this universe. Honestly, I was surprised that you had so many problems before. Maybe you'll awaken those abilities naturally later in life, I dunno, I don't care enough to know, but I can give them to you now!"

"No, I'm fine as it is. I also don't want to leave this universe. I won't leave Fii," Viridia stated.

"Yes, of course... I should have known that you would decline... Perhaps I did? However, remember that harpies don't live as long as succubi, especially not as long as an arch succubus. If you're ever feeling lonely in the far future, perhaps a few hundred years from now, just ask me."

"That won't be necessary, but I'll think about it," Viridia replied.

"Okay, fine. You're heading back to your girlfriend now? Send her my regards."

"I will, but what are you going to do now?" Viridia wondered.

"Well... I guess I'll go look for some dimension travelers. I still don't have a plan how to pull this all off, but give it a few millennia or less than a second and I'll have one. I don't think we'll be seeing each other in the next few hundred years, not directly that is, but please, consider my offer. Goodbye, Viridia Vandela," Radames waved as he walked towards the horizon, without purpose, but with will.

Viridia looked back at him a few more times, thinking about the words he said. They would be almost impossible to believe if she hadn't seen what Radames was capable of. She still didn't know who Radames really was, but she didn't care to find that out now and returned to the mansion.
