I put Ezparenza infront of me to see what the family would do. Immediatly Balthozars new girlfriend started. "I thought that hybrids weren't allowed." She sneered. "That is right but in this situation Ezparenza should be here." I said. "Stop defending your friend. You know the rules." Azzazil said. "Brothers, please calm down. She is here for a reason and therefore you should respect her." Lucifer said. "Thank you ,Lucifer. Do you know where mother and father are?" I asked. "We are here ,boys" I heard my father said. I smirked. Wait for me to blow my brothers brains up.
"Mother, father, I have the greatest news possible." I said. "And that is?" My father asked. "I have a-" "Sabriel, why did you bring the hybrid?" My mother asked. "Mother, she is my mate!" I said. My brothers gasped and my mother looked taken aback but father smiled. "Sabriel!" My mother sounded outraged. "What, Mother? Do you have a problem? Did you forget that your brother- in -law is a hybrid? You don't seem to have a problem with him ,do you?" I asked. Ezparenza was flinching infront of me. "And you! You think you stand a chance with my son?! I know you put your filthy magick on him!" My mother yelled. I pushed Ezparenza behind me.
"MOTHER! LISTEN TO ME! SHE IS MY MATE WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT BECAUSE I WANT HER AND I HAVE HER IN MY LIFE. NO MAGICK WAS INVOLVED. I LOVE HER AND I ALWAYS HAVE!" I yelled. "SAB-" "Lireal!" My father said. We all jumped. He never deals with anything unless its drastic.
"Sabriel, how and why?" My father asked. "She is differeng from the rest of these worthless ones. She never pays attention to any guy," I said. I heard Balthozar snort but I ignored him. "She opens up to me once in a while but I am the only persom she opens up to. The pledge book says that the person with the same key as mine is my true mate. She has the same key as me and we have had this pull from the beggining. I know it sounds crazy but that is why she never liked coming to me. I couldn't handle it so I always went to her."
"Lireal, accept it. Your son is happy and from what I know, Ezparenza is a very pleasant lady and a very sharp student. According to Duncan Andre she is very agile when it comes to her combat and weapons." Father said. "Sabriel, Ezparenza, we should start the rituals tomorrow. No contact at all. No talking to each other. No calls. No touching." He said. "What!?" I asked. "Yes ,son. No contact." Father said. "Now, before it gets late lets do this. Ezparenza, you are new to this so you should just follow Sabriel's instructions. Lucifer, your brother has to take the lead now." Father said. Lucifer nodded.
I turned to Ezparenza. "Baby, don't mind my mother, she has no filters. I know you don't know what to do but, today we will be standing by the moonstone. We will represent the moonlight. Just trust me." I said.
