Not the only one... (A Steven and Spinel love story)

Chapter 1: The talk

In Stevens beach house, Steven was having an argument with Connie... "You just don't understand Connie!" Steven yelled "This relationship with you, it hasn't been working." said Steven in a calmer voice. "What do you mean Steven? I'm trying my best in this relationship! I haven't dated anyone before so this boyfriend and girlfriend thing is still kinda new to me!" said Connie with a look on her face. "What I'm saying is that, I don't feel appreciated or loved by you.. and when I'm sad you would ask if I'm okay and that's all you would do! you never comforted me when I needed it most." said Steven trying to hold back his tears. " I also saw you kiss Kevin! That really hurt me, it broke my heart.. I'm sorry Connie but I'm breaking up with you" said Steven, a tear fell down Steven's cheek. Connie ran out of Steven's house and ran crying to her house.    Ps I know that Connie and Steven hate Kevin but this is a fanfic so just role with it

~Connie's thinking~ Why did Steven do this to me.. i know that Kevin kissed me but it was just one innocent kiss. I gave Steven all my love, I will still remember the times me and Steven would hangout, sit on his bed and watch movies... every time i would get scared Steven would comfort me and hug me tight, I regret not doing the same for him...

Steven went to the kitchen to get a cold cup of water to relax himself, while drinking the cold cup of water Steven was thinking..

~Steven's thinking~ I feel kind of bad now, but I know I made the right choice, Connie might have thought that our relationship was going great but in my perspective it wasn't going well... Connie would be too pushy and sometimes act different when others were around. Connie never comforted me when I needed it most-

The crystal gems walked into the kitchen interrupting Steven's thinking. "We heard everything Steven.." said Pearl with a frown on her face ''Yeah, you alright dude?" asked Amethyst " No not really but you guys here are making me feel a little better" said Steven smiling a bit " I saw this coming Steven, listen if your hanging on to someone who's not trust worthy, your wasting your time, instead trust your instincts.'' said Garnet "Thanks garnet" said Steven. "Why don't you call Spinel, she always cheers you up when you are sad, after all she is your bestfriend" said pearl lightening up the mood. "Yeah! I'm gonna go call Spinel, thanks you guys." said Steven giving them all a hug. Then Steven went up the stairs to his room.

Steven grabbed his phone from his dresser, he gave Spinel a call "Hi Steven!" said Spinel full of joy. "Hey Spinel what's up?" said Steven. "Hmmm you sound sad, you know what I'm coming over right now, first let me tell the Diamonds First." said Spinel in a worried soft voice. "oh uh you don't have to come over really, its nothing serious." said Steven in a calmer voice. "I'm coming over, ill see you there in 20 minutes." said Spinel ignoring what he said. "Okay see you then. Bye." said Steven, then Steven hung up and waited for the Pink gem to arrive.
