A long flight across the Pacific Ocean tends to take a toll on the body. A toll that he was not exactly happy to pay. His body ached from the uncomfortable plane seat and he was just itching to get off of it. He wanted to find his luggage, get to his flat and just sleep the day away. He wasn't really willing to do much else, because eating dinner isn't that important...right? He couldn't for the life of him sleep on that plane, anything and everything was making him nauseous, and he couldn't get comfortable at all. He sighed as the flight attendant looked at him with a worried gaze. He'd slung his arm over his eyes and he was breathing quite heavily, trying to relieve the aching feeling his stomach was giving him. "U-um, sir? Are you feeling alright?" She asked quietly, placing slender fingers on Kimber's left shoulder. He jolted at her touch as he lowered his arm slowly. "I....I'm uh..." He couldn't even seem to jumble a sentence together. "I'm going to get you some water, alright?" She informed him as she gave him a small smile and Kimber was grateful.

She'd returned a few moments later with a glass of ice water and she handed it to him, in which he welcomed it, giving her a small 'thank you' before continuing to take a long drink. Coming back up for air, he sighed. His stomach already felt better and he was trying to keep himself from drinking the rest of the cool liquid too quickly. "Better?" She chuckled quietly, earning a shy nod from the blonde. He rubbed his emerald green left eye and breathed deeply. Maybe this flight wouldn't take as long as he thought.

Roughly five hours and twenty four minutes later, the plane had landed, and he was all too relieved to finally get off. He thanked the flight attendant who'd been so kind as to help him and went on his way. Off to baggage claim, what a treat. He kept his distance from any person who dared to try to come within an arms length near him. The last thing he needed was to get knocked on his face...again. It's happened before. He sighed as he found the suitcase with bright green and electric blue duck tape in the shape of an 'X.' He took it and checked the other side. Yup, there was the other 'X.' He'd put one on both sides to make sure that he wouldn't get it confused with anyone else who may have used the same duck tape.

Quickly leaving with all three of his bags, he headed outside and into the streets. This town...just as beautiful as he'd remembered it. The blonde teenager quickly hailed a cab. Luckily, he'd gotten one pretty quickly, and the driver even helped him with his luggage. There was a bit of flirting on his part but, Kimber just gave him shy smiles and bashful looked to the side. It wasn't his fault, this guy was embarrassing him. Telling him how cute he'd looked. To be honest, Kimber wasn't sure if this man knew he was....a boy! But, Kimber was going to ruin it for the guy. He was only in his early twenties, which made him more comfortable than if the man was older.

Arriving at his apartment was such a relief, and he couldn't wait to flop on his bed. His father had told him that he'd hired someone to get his kitchen and bathroom stocked, bed made, and all furniture in place. Sometimes he knew his old man was too good to him. Moving to America for the summer was extremely stressful, but he was relieved when he was informed that he'd get to come back to his home town for high school, despite how worried it left his mother. He'd climbed up the stairs to the flat complex and meekly opened the door. Upon entering, he weakly asked for the key to flat 209 and went on his way to his new home. For high school and possibly college. Kimber sighed as he opened the door, happy to be in his first flat. But, truth be told he didn't think that he'd have his own flat until college. He pulled his suitcases into the room and set them neatly beside his dresser. Flipping his cellphone out, he proceeded to call his mother. A few rings trilled in his ear before his mother answered. "Hello?" She asked quietly as if she'd just woken up. "Hey, I just got here..." He said quietly into the phone, not wanting to give her a headache. "O-oh! Kimber....I'm happy you're safe baby, I checked online and Bear should be there soon, okay sweetie?" She sighed, a tone of relief in her voice. "Alright. Get some sleep, okay mom?" He gave a grateful smile as he whispered a simple 'love you' in the phone before hanging up. It was three am where he was so, it was around twelve am for her. That means she just got home from her late shift at work. She must've been tired...

About three hours later, he went downstairs and knocked lightly on what was labeled as the 'Staff Room.' Stepping back, he looked down, scared. He hated people so much that it hurt him. A young brunette girl with a steak of eccentric tanzanite in her hair opened the door. "Yes?" She asked quietly. "Um...my name's Kimber Hizuki... I was just asking if a package arrived for me?" He said quietly. She seemed around his hight, which was around 5"3, so it made him feel better that he wasn't shorter than the girl. "Oh! Yeah..." She smiled, opening the door all of the way. There he was, his big burly Akita biting his tail. He was a standard, one year old male with orange and white fur, and black circles over the backs of his ears. "Bear." He sighed, causing the dog to perk up. He gave a bark and stood, running and jumping up, causing Kimber to catch him and stumble back. He barked several times before proceeding to lick Kimber's face. "Sorry, I couldn't help but let him out, he was whining." She sighed. "You were pouting." He chuckled at the dog as he shook him. "It's fine really, thanks for entertaining him." Kimber said quietly. The girl beamed and nodded. "Of course!" She giggled lightly. "The name's Rique, I work here. I'm the manager." She smiled at him, extending her hand. "Oh! I'm Kimber." He said quietly shaking it, then letting down the dog. "It's early so...I guess I'll see you around." He gave a slight bow. The girl nodded. "Yeah, I'll see you." She smiled.

When he got back to his flat, he allowed the Akita inside, and instantly, Bear jumped up on his bed. "That's my boy." He continued his way into the kitchen and grabbed a small dish that seemed to be some sort of American cuisine. Wolfing it down, he sighed. It was the first thing he'd had to eat in ten hours. Stomach finally settling, he drank a small glass of water and sighed as he flopped down in the same sweat pants and jacket he'd been wearing all day. Pulling his arm out of one of the sleeves, and used it as a blanket, too lazy to get the Akita to move for him to get under the comforter. He gave a deep breath and once his eyes closed he was out for the day.
