I run back to the stables, knowing they'll be here soon. I find Arion there and make sure he has everything he needs for the night. I quickly lock up the stables, which I had almost forgotten to do, and run back to the house fast, knowing my life depends on it. I scurry up the front porch's steps and lock the door behind me. I run to the back of the house and close up that door. I check all of the windows, then drape bed covers over them. I hear the first groan of the night just after I finish.

"Thank heavens," I whisper to myself.

I finish cooking my mac 'n' cheese and grab a bowl to put it in. I eat all of my food, grab a blanket and pillow, and lay on my makeshift bed on the ground. Not much later, I was fast asleep.

I woke up in my cabin like I always do in my dream. It seems as if my dreams are real, except for the fact that it contains werewolves, shifters, vampires, telepaths, and other supernatural creatures. My so-called dreams feel just as real as my life when I'm awake.

One time, I had been stabbed and, when I woke up, I saw the same wound a healer wrapped for me.

It doesn't make sense to me as to why or how it had happened, but I've learned to just go with the flow.

I head over to my telepathic/telekinetic friend's house.

"Hey Drake!" I yell out to him since he's outside.

"Hey Sky! Glad to see you again!" he yells back.

"What should we do today?" I ask once I reach him.

"Well, I was thinking-" he is cut short by an explosion.
