Finn's POV

"FINN! FINN" I heard yelling from outside of my house in my cave. It's too early in the morning.

I got up and stretched. I floated down the latter and through my living room to the door. I opened to see Bubblegum. "Wassup Bonniballe I was sleep." She looked at me and said "I could tell. Anyways Finn I found a baby." "Oh really now." "Don't say it like that. At least act like you care. It's a human."

A human? "There hasn't been a human since the mushroom war." I said fully awake now. "Lemme see it." She handed the baby to me. "It's a girl" she said when I had it in my arms. "I couldn't tell, I mean it's not like I'm holding her in my arms." I said sarcastically. I looked down at the baby in a white blanket. And she looked up at me with her emerald green eyes and long lashes. She gurgled happily and giggled.

"What's her name." "Well I found this note but I can't pronounce her name." And you're supposed to be smart I thought. She handed me the note and I took it from her. It read:

I unfortunately can no longer take care of my child. I hope someone will find her and please take care of my baby for me. Be the parent I'll never be able to be. I love her dearly and it pains me to let her go this way. Her name is Marceline Abadeer raise her you choose, but please take care of her.

There was a signature at the bottom but the ink was smudged do to water on the paper. I handed the note to PB and looked down to 'Marceline' "Her name is Marceline." "What a strange name." Bonniballe said. "Oh and Princess bubblegum is the most original name." I said sarcastically. "Why'd you bring her here anyway?" I asked.

"Finn this may be sudden but I need to go on a trip with Lady and Peppermint Butler. I need you to keep her. PEPPERMINT BUTLER." She called and pepper mint butler brought in a crib. "I brought enough stuff for her to last Two or three months. Please take care of her and she is 7 months old." I nod not in the mood to argue with her.

"I'll be on my leave. Thank you Finn. Thank you peppermint butler." "Yes your highness." Peppermint butler said and they left out of my house. I looked down at Marceline and she was already sleep. I took two covers from one of the boxes PB brought and took her upstairs and laid her on the bed with the blankets.
