To the moon and back

July 12 always seemed like any other normal day. But little did I know, just
how significant this day would become.

Ugghh... Just another boring day!
I just cannot digest the feeling of utter angst especially when all you are going to do is predictable.

Right?

And to think we were so impatient to grow up and be an adult. Life really is ironic.

Considering all that I've gone through and experienced I just wish I could go back and live like a child again, with no worries.

Today is July 12.

So?

It's just another day!

I made my way to the church for the big sales day. Every year my church organizes a big event to raise up money for the church and those in need.
So, here I am contributing to the church by being a part of the volunteer crew.

I was teamed up with a bunch of my friends and a few others I am not so familiar with which included some seniors.

We were helping out in different stalls, moving chairs, arranging foods and vegetables.

At lunch time we were sitting and having food and conversing.
"Nick! When are you going to give us your treat for your birthday? " A senior asked another.
"It's not my birthday..! "
"Yeah! Sure. Today is July 12 is it not? " He said.
Yeah it was..
"Yeah it is. So what? "
" Come on. Everyone here would love it! Especially uhhmmmm!! " the senior laughed.
"STOP IT. "
And the guy looked back at me all red in the face.

I didn't think much of it, at first.

He ended up buying stuffs for all of us.
It was delicious.

Later at night, after I returned home.
I got a message from an unknown number asking me whether this was my number.
When I said yes.
He introduced himself as the guy who treated us earlier during the day.
