The young girl is also very interested in tie-dye. She started gaining interest in it in 2017. Her Dad took her to a gypsy fair and there she was amazed and bought her very first tie-dye item. They seen a tiedye stand and her father interested her into having a look. She found the perfect one, tried it on and she loved it! It had bright and vibrant colours. Her friend seen it days later and was jealous. Her friend travel one hour away to get a white t-shirt and a tie-dye kit. The next time they caught up, her friend showed her and tried to brag but it didn't work (duhhh).
When the young teenager moved, she did more and more tie-dye. She made her very first t-shirt. It wasn't perfect because it was bright at the back but the colours were dull. Apparently what way you twist it what side is brighter. The girl was still very proud and happy with her design.
When she moved to the bigger and better place, she made a tie-dye duvet cover. The colour washed straight out unfortunately. But they googled why it may of happened. It said it will only work with certain material. They used the wrong material. They went out and bought something that would work properly!
The next weekend they started the tie-dye. They were nervous to see if would actually work this time. After about 15 minutes, they had finishing adding the dye, twisting it, and putting the rubber bands on. For it to actually work, you need to put it in a plastic bag to set for 24 hours. The next day they got the duvet out and washed the dye out. Barely any dye came out, which is great news! The chucked it in the washing machine and hung it out. It looked amazing and she was so proud! It looked like a galaxy with with spots. The put it on the bed and it looked perfect.
The next weekend they did 2 pillow cases. Only 1 worked the other didn't. The 1 that worked looked really good. They went out and got a new pillow case, and they tried it. It did work, but it didn't match really matched the rest.
When the young girl went put shopping, her father spotted some white hats. He suggested that they could tie-dye them. She agreed, so they bought 2. They went back home and got all the supplies they need. She only pick 2 colours, which was pink and blue. She did one and her father did the other. The did different styles, to each other. They both looked really effective! They also did a singlet and her brothers t-shirt. He doesn't really wear that t-shirt but it was still something to tie-dye.
She bought two white tops from Kmart to tie-dye. A shirt and another singlet. She used her plan singlet for school events because she needed that colour. She is very excited for more tie-dying!
