Introduction
Most people tell you to know what you're getting into before starting a relationship. Some people tell you to make sure there are zero secrets. Another person may tell you to make smart decisions.

My mom told me all that, plus 'don't have sex until marriage.'

We were a big family of Catholics. I never went to a Catholic School. Just a Charter School. It wasn't quite public but it wasn't private either. Somewhere in the middle. The school was mainly made up of doctor's kids and basketball players. The school was too small for a lacrosse team but we had football and basketball, and damn we excelled at both. Oh and golf too but nobody ever cared about that.

I was on the volleyball team. We went back and forth between being good and average. It just depended on who tried out for volleyball that year. Our varsity was usually really good, but our JV team always struggled to win. Fortunately I was only on the JV team for my freshmen year. After that, I found a permanent spot on Varsity.

Other than volleyball, I really wasn't too involved with the school. I considered doing soccer but it just seemed so much easier to go home after school then stay outside for two hours and run back and forth across a field. And trust me, I may not have lived in Florida but North Carolina could get very hot.

I loved it there though. All the trees. The coast on one side and the mountains on the other. I loved it so much I didn't leave the state for college. I stayed and went to Chapel Hill.

That's where I am. Beautiful, academically challenging, technologically advanced Chapel Hill. It's my final year here before I go off to do my surgical internship. I have to say I'm not going to miss it as much as I initially expected.

And here we come back full circle, to the whole reason I decided to write this down for you all to read.

Things happened at college, things that never should've happened. But I did let it all happen so I'm partially to blame.

A lot of people claim girls fall for bad boys, douchebags, the not so nice people. They claim that we do this because we think we can change them.

Well, that was not why I fell for him. I liked him the way he was. As said before, I was a catholic girl, played volleyball, great grades. I had both of my parents still, all my aunts and uncles, all my cousins, and all my grandparents. My life was perfect, yet I wasn't satisfied. Like most girls, I was self-conscious. I was worried I wasn't enough for anyone. I didn't really have body issues, I was just worried that I'd never be able to be in a long term relationship because I'd always do something wrong. I mean I tried dating someone, Hudson Davies. Great guy, decent looks, athletic, good in school. We seemed like we'd click. Then a week into the relationship, I realized we didn't go together so I boldly told him to his face...yeah, he didn't take it well.

However, as I'm sure you all are wondering, I was not a virgin heading into college. Nope, on the last day of school I did it with one of the football wide receivers in the back of his car. Thank god for tinted windows.

So heading to Chapel Hill, I was not a virgin, but I was still pretty inexperienced.

And then came Mr. Bad Boy. Everybody warned me about him and I did listen, but I didn't actually follow through with what they told me. Because I knew he was a Bad Boy and I liked that. I wasn't going to try and change that.

Oh but Ashton Wren had me hooked around his finger before I could even figure out just how bad he actually was.
