Caitlyn was walking home with Jessica. They were coming home from school. School meaning jail. It was TORTURE! They had 5 tests and at least a million homework to do. Jessica wished school didn’t even exist but, Caitlyn wished that something good would happen to her. Caitlyn always had something bad or an embarrassing moment nearly every day! While Jessica, is like… the most popular girl in school. Even though she’s popular, Caitlyn and Jessica are BFF’s. They did everything together! But, maybe they just sat a couple of seats away from each other at lunch. But other then that, they were totally BFF’s! As they were walking, Caitlyn noticed something glistening near a stop sign. She couldn’t help but keep her eyes off of it and accidentally bumped into Jessica. OOF! Jessica stopped walking as she noticed Caitlyn totally distracted looking to the bottom of the stop sign. Jessica was about to ask Caitlyn what was the matter but, Caitlyn was walking towards the stop sign. She didn’t know what to do but follow Caitlyn. As they got closer Jessica noticed that the glistening light was actually 2 rings.
Caitlyn noticed too. Caitlyn picked up the two rings and looked at Jessica. Jessica shrugged. Who’s rings could this possibly be? There were no names on it. Caitlyn couldn’t believe someone could lose something this pretty. Even if she asked if this was anyone, they would say it was theirs and probably sell it for millions. So, the right thing to do was to keep it until there were any signs asking for who found it and she can turn it in! “Here take one”, Caitlyn said gesturing to Jessica. Jessica looked confused. “We can’t just take it!” Caitlyn hesitated. “There’s no owner, and we can just turn it in once there are signs.” Jessica stared at Caitlyn. She let out a huge sigh and grabbed for the ring that was white with a snowflake on the top. Caitlyn had the ring that was orange and had a picture of a baton with a ribbon connected to it. She placed the ring in her backpack and Jessica did the same. They walked home to Caitlyn’s house. As they stepped inside, they quickly set their backpacks on the sofa and grabbed the rings out of their backpacks.
