Marinette's POV:

I collapsed onto my bed after a day of fighting villains in Paris. Tikki looks exhausted. I grabbed some cookies on my desk and gave it to her. "Well done Marinette! You're getting better and better each day!" I giggled and said, "I couldn't have defeated Mr. Pigeon without Cat Noir!" Tikki gasps with a shocked look on her face, "You have school tomorrow, our first day from the Summer Break!" I tripped down my ladder to my bed with a big thump. I quickly got up and checked my timetable. It was 9:10 pm and I knew I had to quickly complete my assignment for English. I woke up with my head on the table. I finished the assignment as fast as I could last night and was too tired to move to my bed. I looked at the time on my phone. 7:45 am. I had 15 minutes to get ready! I jumped up and woke Tikki up. I brushed my teeth and picked a cute outfit for school, Tikki helping me pack my bag. I ran downstairs and grabbed a croissant and a pack of colorful macaroons. I looked at my phone, 2 minutes till the bell rings! I was going to see my crush, Adrien! I haven't seen him face to face in 8 weeks!

Adrien's POV:

10 minutes ago...

I looked at my mirror one last time and sighed. "Why do we even have to go to school? We could just chill here eating camembert!" I rolled my eyes, "Unlike you, I like going out and hanging with my friends. I fee-" I was interrupted by my dad's assistant, Nathalie. "Adrien, your car is waiting outside! You're going to be late for school!." I mumbled under my breath, "Coming...". I hated my life. My dad was so strict and never gave me the freedom to live as a normal teenager. Being rich and famous doesn't make me happy, I'd rather be a normal teenager. Plaqq swallowed his cheese and flew into my pocket. I was so excited to see my best friend Nino!

Present Time...

Marinette's POV:

I waited impatiently for the traffic lights to turn green. Eventually, I was able to cross. I nearly dropped my macaroons whilst I was running. I looked at my phone 1 minute remaining. I was screaming inside my head. I ran as fast as I could. When I entered the classroom, the teacher wasn't there. I ran so fast that I couldn't stop myself from banging into Adrien, SO EMBARRASSING! I quickly got up and apologized, my face was red. Chloe walked over and said, "You never change, 8 weeks and you're still so clumsy when I first met you." "Stop being rude Chloe, she just ran into me." Arghh, my crush jut defended me!! Chloe gasps dramatically, "Adrikins, did you just de-". Luckily the teacher came in and stopped the argument. "Settle down class. Welcome back to school! Now, I have decided to move some students around. You will still be sitting next to your friend but at another table. Marinette and Alya, swap with Chloe and Sabrina." Chloe sat above Adrien's table! "Now, I want your assignments on my desk. There will be a group project about William Shakespeare. Adrien, Nino, Marinette, and Alya will be one group. Chloe, Sabrina, Alix, and Mylene will be one group. Max, Kim, Juleka, and Rose are one team. That leaves Nathaniel and Ivan as a duo. This assignment will be due in 2 weeks and I want everyone to contribute with a piece of their own research. I smiled happily, I was finally in a group with Adrien!! I felt like I was going to faint. Alya whispered, "Now you have some alone time with your crush!" We both giggled, "Hehe, I can't wait!". "Marinette and Alya stop talking and turn your page to 185."

Break:

Adrien's POV:

I decided to hang out with Marinette and Alya for a bit, they were always so chill. I have no idea why but whenever I'm around Marinette she always says something weird that doesn't make sense. Oh well, that's what I like about her. "Have you seen my latest post on the Ladyblog? Ladybug and Cat Noir swinging into action to defeat Mr. Pigeon! I think Cat Noir is allergic to pigeon feathers." I gulped, no-one must ever know my identity as Cat Noir. I said, "Well anyone could be allergic to them." Marinette nodded in agreement. I felt a rush of relief. "But that is not going to stop me from finding out who is behind that mask! Chloe ran over and hugged me tightly. "Adrikins lets get away from these rats." I tried to reply but Chloe dragged me away.

Marinette's POV:

Miss Bustier sat on her desk waiting for silence. "For this science task, I would like everyone to pair up in two's. There must be a boy and a girl. Choose now and sit with them!" "This is your chance Marinette ask him!" "I can't Alya, I'm scared!" Alya rolled her eyes. Before Chloe could reach Adrien, Alya shouted, "Adrien, Marinette wants to be your partner!"The whole class went to silence. "Sure, I would love to be with her!" Chloe screamed and walked out of the classroom. What a spoilt little rat! "Er, so Marinette... come sit here!" I nodded and jogged over to him. I tripped down the stairs towards Adrien. Luckily, he caught me and smiled nicely. "I'll come over to your place for the Shakespeare assignment?" "S-s-sure".
