Todoroki x Villain!Reader: Grey

Call

While Mina was changing, you figured you should make that call to tell Shigaraki your location. "Hey, Mina!" Y/n yelled. "I told my mum I'd call her once we got to camp so I'm gonna go do that now, you can go ahead without me ok?" You say.

Mina chuckles. "Sure! Honestly, your mother does seem like the type of person who would do that." She says.

"Thanks!" Y/n says before leaving the bathroom. You needed to find somewhere you wouldn't be interrupted and where there were no cameras... Got it. Looks like you'd have to check out the outdoor baths a little sooner than you'd thought. You walk out the back to where the baths were. The dining area was on the other side of where you were staying so you knew you'd have plenty of privacy. You look around. No visible cameras. That didn't mean you were safe though. There could be camera's or microphones anywhere. You can never be too cautious when you're staying in a heroes campsite. Those guys are always paranoid.

You dial Shigaraki's number and put the phone up to your ear.

S: = Shigaraki.     Y: = Y/n

S: hey

Y: hey mum, it's me

S:...Y/n? Are there microphones around there?

Y: yeah, camps going pretty well so far... actually that's a lie. Mr Aizawa definitely pushed us a bit too hard

S: ok, tell me your location

Y: You shouldn't worry so much!! I told you we're with pro heroes, Mr Aizawa and Wild Wild Pussycats are here!! In fact, the pussycats own all the land we're staying on, it's their campgrounds. So please don't worry mum. Besides, I'm only about an hour and a half away in the (whatever name) hills.

S: we should be able to work with that. Good job

Y: yeah yeah, I'll make sure to stay safe.

S: I love you, "daughter"

Y: *giggles* I love you too mum

You hung up the phone and sighed, walking out of the bathroom. Well, you did it. Y/n wondered how long it would take until they got here. You couldn't help but think that people may die in the attack. You were in a lose-lose situation. If the good guys lose, you lose your friends and if the bad guys lose, you lose your friends. You thought about how you would feel if Todoroki didn't make it out alive. Your stomach started churning. You couldn't stand that thought. It physically repulsed you. But, thanks to what you were doing, it wasn't completely impossible. And that terrified you.

You thought about if you'd ever be able to remain friends with Todoroki after all this. Probably not. That thought also devastated you. You had never cared about anyone in your life the same way you cared about him. But you had a goal. You would regret it for the rest of your life if you let your high school crush get in between you and your future. But right now, in this moment and for the past year, he's the only thing that's made life worth living. You owed him so much, but you would never get the chance to repay him.

You sighed as you reach the door that would lead to the outside eating area. It would be hard to face your classmates after everything you've done. You'll be lying right to their faces. And here you were wishing to correct all the wrongs of this world, how hypocritical. No, how disgusting. You prayed it would be worth it, and plastered a fake smile onto your face.

You had to be strong for the time being. Only let them see the charade, and by the time they find out who you are, it will be too late. It will only be for a couple of days at most.

Only a couple of days left until you betray the people you know and love.

Heyyy!! This is the author (obviously lol). I just wanted to say how much I enjoy writing this fanfic, and I love how awesome everyone has been so far!! I love nothing more than when you save, follow or comment!! And I'm not saying that it literally brightens up my day when I check my account to see people are actually enjoying reading the stuff I enjoy writing!! It's so insane!! Out of everything I mentioned, I think I prefer it when people comment. It's just so insanely uplifting to see people actually just sharing their opinions on what you write; pointing out what they liked and giving advice on how to get better, it's insane!! Also, I make sure to follow anyone who saves, follows or comments, so yeah I guess that there's that,

Idk why I went on a rant, I guess I just get excited when I get to upload my this fanfic. I've sorted all got a good idea of where I want it to go and even though it's taking longer to get there than I imagined, it's all just so fun to write!! Even these little, unimportant chapters are just so fun!! Ok love you all and I'm not just saying that to be nice I legitimately love the fact that I can make something like this and real people read and enjoy it just the thought makes me so happy. Ok, I need sleep goodnight I love you. Remember to hydrate so you don't dydrate and to get at least seven hours of sleep!! Take care of yourself!!
