William involves his wings around his body, snuggling for warm, it was snowing, normal snow, not the toxic one, at least for the magical creatures, human are weak comparing to them, this snow could kill any human if staying too long under it
Soft whimpers were heard at his door step, making him rush upstairs, infront of the door, there was a small blue bundle, inside a torn basket, the little human inside was protected by the blanket his parents involved him in

"What this poor soul is doing on this side of the border?" William asks himself, taking the basket on his arms, putting one of his wings up on his head and uncovering the human's soft face, he has a fluffy and curly blond hair, his cheeks had freckles decorating it, his ocean blue eyes looking at the man's violet ones "Oh! Hello there tiny human! What are you doing infront of my door?" William asks, curiously watching the tiny human, he never saw one so small and neither a big one up close

The toddler tilts his head to the side, soon smiling and giggling as he tries to reach at the creature's wings

"What an odd type of human you are, tiny creature..." The man takes the basket inside the house, putting it on the couch, he sits in front of the baby, that kicks the blanket away from his body, which makes sense, inside the house was hot, comparing to outside "Want to get out of the basket? It doesn't look comfortable in there"

The little one pulls a paper, that was hiding under him, and puts it in his mouth, making the man take it carefully from the child's mouth, that didn't even struggle to keep it

Please refuge my human son, Alexander, he needs a proper protection and his original home isn't safe to raise a child
Don't come after me.

"Oh, you poor thing..." William puts the note down, looking down at the little boy, that, at seeing him looking at him, smiles widely

"Daddy!" The child – Alexander – squeaks happily, extending his arms to the man, earning a soft chuckle from him

"Maybe I could really be your daddy, tiny–Uhm, Alexander" William stutters, gaining a confused look from the toddler, then another wide smile "That's lovely...now, come here!" The man takes Alexander on his lap, putting him standing in front of him, testing if the boy can walk, only to find out he can't by the child falling directly on his chest
"Oh God! I'm so sorry!" William hugs the boy, trying to soosh him from any pain the boy is in, but only received a squeaky giggle as the child plays with his wings "You sure are surprising, little one..."
