Days and weeks had passed without incident, everything seemed to be going sunny side up for the couple. However mentally? The two we're cracking.

Summer was just around the corner, the days were due to be longer, brighter, hotter. All things Giorno avoided as much as possible, summer time was rather difficult for him. And now that he had a human boyfriend it was due to get even more difficult.
Mista enjoyed the sun, he enjoyed sitting out and getting away to hidden treasures of the Italian countryside. Things Giorno once loved too.

Giorno was stressed, his body was still recovering from his plague, and the hot days and nights were making it difficult for him to accurately determine if he had a fever or not.
Giorno was half living, he was at risk of getting sick like every other human, he had the risk of dying like every other human. However Giornos worries and thoughts should've been focusing on a much more threatening issue.
A Murder.

Not a Murder in the sense of someone's death, there was no death. Not human anyways. No serial killer. No public menace. Instead something that rose from the dirt as if crawling from hell.

As long as history there has been a large group of creatures which ensure the quiet and unknowing living of otherworldly creatures remained hidden.
This process usually involved mass culling of dangerous races. The Siren was an unfortunate target of these Crows pecking.

They knew everything, you couldn't hide anything from these creatures. Some believe they were made by God himself to keep humans safe. However most believe that they are the work of Satan to instill fear.

DIO was rather frightened for Giorno, he thought that he would be safe from the Crows becuase he is half living. However he was very wrong.
These Crows didn't see half living, they saw vampire. Full bred or not Giorno was a danger to the human race, and now he had exposed himself to not one human, but several.
Giorno was aware of the Crows, however he didn't care. If they came for him then they came for all of Italy. Political figures, celebrities, scientists.
The Crows dont kill just one, they kill them all. A culling.
However Italy is rich with vampires, many came over with DIO from England and Ireland. The birthplaces of such creatures and to kill them all would cause mass panic. The Murder isnt that stupid.

Giorno only feared that they could cull Mista. He wouldn't let that happen, not even over his dead body. He would protect Mista until his dying breath, and after. He would rise from the depths of the sea, from the dirt, fall from the sky, he would raise Hell from its post to Earth if he had to.
He would end every Crow, tear their skeletal skulls from their decaying human bodies. Beat them till they're nothing but dust and blood.
Giorno was a gentle being, he loved all, however his father's cunning cruelty ran through his veins. Giorno was both sides of the coin, he would care for all, or murder all.
Whichever favoured his idea of justice.

Giorno was corrupted with hatred and false sight. He had never been right. From his step-father and mother's abuse to the traumatic experience of his own Father ending his life only to make him suffer till the end of time had broken him, he masks it with justice and appreciation for life. He hides it so well he fools himself.

Giorno was not perfect. He wasn't collected and well rounded. He was vindictive and fragile.
His studies provided him structure and something to work for. He felt satisfied with his studies, he felt satisfied with himself.
And he had Mista, the love of his life. Who was both a blessing and an irritant.

He most certainly loved Mista as much as he could, and even some more. However Giorno wasn't human, and hadn't been for a long time. He had forgotten how fragile they were both mentally and emotionally. Dealing with Mistas' quick changing emotions and erratic behaviour was stressful.
Not only that, but Mista was human. To giorno on some days he couldn't bare to even be in the same building as Mista. He couldn't look at him, in fear he would crumble under the pressure of his vampiric nature and snap Mistas' neck like a twig underneath his boot. If such a think happened giorno would surely take a long stroll on the beach during noon.

Mista loved Giorno with everything he had. He was absolutely smitten for the half vampire. Completely aware his life was in danger every time he got too close, fully aware that Giorno wasn't human. Fully aware of how cruel he was.
Mista had heard many stories about Giorno, everyone seemed to know him yet very few people had good things to say about him.
Mista was terrified of Giorno, he once believed that he could do no harm and was simply misunderstood. However he was proved wrong, proved very very wrong.
The night Giorno fed off Mista was the most terrifying night of Mistas' life. What he saw was not his boyfriend, but a beast.
A beast he found strangely attractive. A beast that once he saw, couldn't get out of his head.
He's tried to pull that out of Giorno on many occasions, but never got there. Not fully.
He knew giorno was a beast on the inside, that he was his predator. His killer.
Yet he also knew that Giorno would protect him, that he would hunt down anyone that hurt him to the ends of Earth. And drag it's dead carcass back to Italy to show Mista.

Mista wasn't entirely innocent himself, he had a troubled past. At least that's what people called it.
He shot and killed three people to protect this innocent woman, if he were being honest it was one of the best nights of his life. He was just as bad as Girono, however he wasn't cruel. He was just mean.
He wanted to be an equal to Giorno, to be not only his partner, but to be just as evil. To turn. To live with him forever slowly ending the human race as they lived quietly.
Poor Mista didnt know about the Crows, though.

He would soon become rather close to these Crows, maybe too close.
Maybe not.
Who knows?
