At the start (bakugo x reader)

Chapter 1

"(Y/N)!!" Your best friend  yelled. "GOT IT!" You shouted as you ran up, you jumped and smacked the ball over the net causing it to land right behind the front blocker. A perfect spike. You landed back down and ran over to your team. "Yea!! Good job girls!~" you smiled and went back to your spot.

You kept going, you made a total of 12 perfect spikes, and 6 bumps the game ended 25-14 you guys won the first set! You walked over to the bench and grabbed your water bottle. You heard your name being called, you looked up into the crowed of people and saw your two best friends. Mina and Denki, they were waving around a poster with your name on it. You smiled. You continued to look around the crowd, you saw Todoroki and deku they are both on the volleyball team as well but the guys team. Next to deku was Kirishima you were ok friends with him but you knew he was on the baseball team, then next to him was Katsuki bakugo. You guys only talked when forced to but....yeah that's it heh.

Anyway, you waved at them all then took another drink of your water, it was time for the second set. You jogged back over to the court and got in your position. You weren't the tallest on the team so you requested middle blocker to start. So there you were. You looked back at jiro who was serving. "0 to 0!!" She called. She threw the ball up in the air and overhand served it.

Your smirked ready to play. You turned facing back to the net, one of the girls on the opposite side bumped it, another set it perfectly. And just as the spiker jumped up you jumped with them. You reached your hands up as far as you could reflected the ball. You landed back down and did a little celebration.

(Time skip, after the game)

You guys won! You were a sweaty mess, your hair looked like you just stood in a storm. You lifted your shirt and wiped your face. You hugged all the other sweaty girls on your team.

You all shook hands under the net. You walked to the bench and all took a drink. All your friends were screaming praises at you. You just smiled and focused on what the coach was saying.

After you guys cooled down and got your trophy, it was time to head home. Although your weirdo friends decided to pull you into a celebration by taking you out to a restaurant. You all had just arrived and took your seats, you sat next to Todoroki and Denki was on the other side of you. Bakugo has his ball cap on but surprisingly he took it off and sat it on the table.

You looked at Kirishima. "Hey do you guys have any close games I could come to?" He looked at you. "Finally coming to one?! Hell yeah um we have a game next Friday I'm pretty sure." Kiri looked at you. You nodded. "Alright I'm free that day and I don't have practice again until Monday so I can go!~" we both smiled and as the waiter came over, we all ordered our food and he wrote it down and walked away.

(Time skip bc I'm really hungry and lazy lol)

When I finished eating I noticed everyone had finished as well. "Well it's getting late and we all have class tomorrow" I sighed. "Yea congrats on your game! You did awesome~" Denki smiled at me. I smiled and nodded. "Thanks!~"

We all got up and headed out. You had learned from many times before. Bakugo and you walked the same way. But you usually wore earbuds or didn't talk to him. But this time you had forgotten your earbuds, while walking you looked up ahead to see him slouched and walking with his hands in his pockets. You skipped up to him. "Hey? You play baseball with Kirishima! What position?"

He glares at you but suddenly got a spark of confidence in his eye. "First base." He looked at his phone. "Oh wow Kiri plays second, I'm sure you know anyway that's cool" you smiled as he looked at you. "So your the person who slams the ball over the net to get the point?.." you chuckled. "It's called the spiker dumbass! And yes that's me." You smirked.

"DONT CALL ME DUMBASS, DUMBASS!!" He screamed. You laughed. "Aww someone upset that their a dumbass?~~" you mocked. He went to grab you but you started running. He chased after you. You hopped over the fences and fire hydrants perfectly although he did too he still wobbled a little. You guys got all the way to the front of your house and you laid on the ground panting. He was leaning on your fence sweating.

You laughed and sat up. "Hey dumbass you should come over for dinner. We are already here." He looked at you. "Tch! Whatever." You smiled and sat up. "Come on dumbass." You walked into your house with him following you.
