I woke up in the middle of the night. Sabriel was sleeping peacefully behind me. I looked to the other bed. Jace and Lily were sleeping on Lily's bed. I quietly got up. I put a set of pants on and walked out the room. I needed to find Diego which meant that I should go to Holly's dorm room. I needed to talk to my brother. I heard a voice at the bottom of the stairs. Laughing. I walked downstairs to see who it was. No one. I looked around and saw a movement on the corridor across from me. I walked before tripping over something and falling into a puddle of foul smelling water. It smelled coppery and it was thick. Then I realises what it was. Blood!
I got up and looked at my surroundings. I used conjured a ball of light and looked at the floor. There was a huge puddle of blood and an obscene body on the floor. It looked like Holly's cousin, Georgina on the floor. I examined her face. It was Georgina! Her skin was pale and her eyes were glassy and lifeless. Her face was smeared with her own blood. Her clothes were ripped and her limbs were in odd angles. Someone had cut her midesection open. The organs were spread around on the floor and on her body. The blood had aready conjealed. She had been dead for long. There was another feminine scent in the room. The scent was dark and smelled like a graveyard.
I know that scent. It is very familiar because I knkw that I have smelled it latley. It would strike fear to the simplest of people. The air was cold. As if it was mourning Georgeina's miserable death. Even the academy seemed to be in mourning. I looked around trying to see if someone was watching me. Then I heard a faint sound. I stopped moving and listened.
"Her eyes are black like a doll's eyes. She looks dead but when she gets ya, her black eyes go white and ya know shes alive. When she bites, she bites with a coniving intention. Her bite brings both pain and death. The blood will spill calling to those who thirst for it." I heard someone say. It sounded like a female drama student. I looked around and saw movement behind me.

Sun comes the Moon. In the name of Artemis I ask that you grant me a sliver of the moonlight." I whispered. A bright light appeared in my hand. I directed it at the moving shadow. It was Holly!
"Ezparenza! How could you!" She yelled. I heard shuffling from the corridors. Shit!
