Chapter 4

Funneh is currently standing in her room, surrounded by piles of clothes, all littering across the floor.

Today is the day she would hangout with Alec, and even though it is school related, she still felt the need to dressed as good as possible.

Exasperated enough, she calls Gold for help.

"Funneh, what happened here?" Gold asks after the bluenette calls her.

Funneh rarely mess her room, she is usually tidy and clean, so this mess would confuse Gold out of her mind.

"Help me" Funneh say, "I'm going out with Alec but I don't know what to wear"

Gold smirked, "I'm glad you asked for my help"

And they went on to make Funneh's room more of a disaster than before, although in the end they did find a good outfit.

Gold took one of Funneh's baby blue short sleeve turtle neck, a pair of light washed jeans, and a pair of brown boots to go with that.

It is quiet nice, Funneh admits, she knew she could count on Gold for something like this.

"Now come on, I need to do your hair" Gold said a few moments after praising her work.

Half an hour later was the time when Funneh done with her hair, make-up, and choosing which bag to use (Gold insists on something that will match perfectly with the color of her hair).

"Do you think this looks good?" Funneh asks for the third time, feeling nervous.

Gold rolls her eyes, "You look great, Funneh"

"Thank you so much, Gold"

"Quit stalling, your prince charming is waiting for you" Gold pushed the bluenette out of the house, telling 'good luck' before she left.

Alec said he wanted to meet up at the public library, the place is close to Funneh's house, it took only five minutes to walk there.

She is really nervous, this is the first time she went out alone with a boy, well, not the first time with a boy, but alone with someone she barely knew.

And someone she had a crush on.

The sight of Alec standing on the sidewalk, waiting for Funneh did nothing but making her heart beats faster.

He is wearing a simple white shirt and a pair of dark jeans, top with a dark jacket suite and a pair of sneakers.

That should be a typical boys clothing, but he looks like he is ready for a photoshoot session.

"Hi" Alec waved at her, upon noticing her arrival. "You look really good" he complemented.

Funneh blushed furiously, "T-thanks, you too".

Maybe it's Funneh's imagination, but she saw a light blush across Alec's face.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked, "We should get lunch before working on anything"

The Bluenette nods, "Sure"

They walk side by side in silence, though it is a good thing, because Funneh couldn't keep up any conversation at this moment.

Everything that came out of her mouth would be a mess of stutter, that is if her brain could come up with anything to say.

Funneh was always the easy going type of person, she liked meeting new people and being friendly with them, so it is a wonder how she could get this flustered over a crush.

"So, where do you want to eat?"

Funneh looked up to Alec, they did start walking without even thinking about what to eat.

"Anything's fine" Funneh answers, because the only thing she wanted was to get food and get over this awkward walking.

"There is a new restaurant that I wanted to try" Alec suggest, "Want to try it out?"

She nods, "Sure, why not"

Luckily, Alec seemed to sense Funneh's nervousness and decided to make small talk along their way.

That, at least, make her more comfortable, but it did nothing to her red flustered face or the fact that her heart is beating loudly.

The lunch went well, actually, it went really well, they had a really nice and long talk too on the way to the library.

She almost forgot that they met up for a project, not just hanging out without any reason.

So they did their work in another silence, popping up random questions here and there, until the clock shows that it is almost 5pm.
