Chaper Six

Nyjah's POV

We were leaving McDonald's now and Melly was taking the food out the bag as he drove. "Here." He said as he basically threw my burger at me. "Is there a problem?" I turned and looked at him. "Nah jhit. Why ya say that?"  He asked before taking a sip of his McFlurry. "You were very rude to Nick." I said softly. "My bad I didn't know I hurt ya lil boyfriends feelings." He shrugged. I smiled as I realized that Melly was jealous. "Aww Melly. I smiled and pinched his cheek. "Fuck you mean aww Melly." He mocked my voice. "You're jealous that Nick and I were talking." I smiled. "Melly ain't jealous of nobody." He smacked his lips.

He grabbed his fries out the bag and pulled out the receipt in the process. "Ahh that nigga wrote his number on the back." Melly laughed dramatically. "I'm guessing that's for me." I smiled and put my hand out and Melly did the same as if he was going to hand it to me. "Sike bihh you thought. Fuck I look like giving you another nigga number." He threw the receipt out the window. "Jealous ass." I mumbled and didn't talk to him for the rest of the ride.

We pulled up to a building that I'm guessing was the studio. I got out the car and grabbed my stuff as I waited for Melly to lead the way. "First day of work kinda nervous. Head ahh." Melly said as he held the door open for me. "You're starting to aggravate the hell out of me." I rolled my eyes as I walked in. "First day you get to just sit and chill while me and my homies work." He explained as we walked down the hall. We entered the room and there was two people already in there.

"Wassam my nigga'" I guy with dreads and a cup in his hands came and greeted Melly. "My slime." Melly dapped him up. "Say bro this my new assistant Nyjah." He places his hand on my back as he spoke. "Hey beautiful I'm Von." He shook my hand and I gave a small smile. "Uzi." Melly said through the outside of the booth. I was star struck when I seen Lil Uzi strutting out the booth. Melly and Uzi dapped each other up and I sat on the couch watching as they talked. "Yeah that's my new assistant, Nyjah." He waved me over.

"Hello." I said nervously as I shook his hand. "How are you." He said softly. "Yea her lul ahh got fired cause of me so I had to help jhit out." Melly smiled at me as he talked. "Damn bro what y'all was doing?" Uzi covered his mouth and laughed. "Not shit, her ahh juh got to drunk partying wit me and cant hold ha liquor." He covered his mouth as if that was going to stop me from hearing him. I rolled my eyes at him then went over to sit down.

I was going bored and sleepy from all that was going on around me. The studio was now filled with more industry people partying together. The door opened so I looked up to see a girl standing there. I smiled at her to be polite but she didn't do the same back. I watched her as she walked through the mist of people and then  stop at Melly. He pulled her into a tight hug where his arms trailed down from her back to her ass causing him to grip it tightly. "Ohh word." I said to myself as I watched them chat it up. This mf got the nerve to get mad at me for talking to the McDonald's guy but he out her cutting it up with big booty bitches.

I was appalled but it wasn't my place to trip so I didn't. My head was now down in my phone but I looked up when I felt a presence over me. "You're Melly's assistant right?" The girl who was just with Melly pointed down at me. "Yes." I fake smiled. "He told me to tell you that you can run some errands for me." She had a sly grin on her face. "For you? Not for him?" I asked just to clarify. "That's what I said." She replied as if I was retarded. I squinted my eyes and then stood up to go over to Melly.

"What errands do I need to run?" I has an attitude when I asked. "My girl want some snacks from the corner store." He said pulling out his wallet and keys. "You're girl." I scrunched my face up at him. "That's what I said." He nodded. I let out a sigh and grabbed his card and keys. "Anyone else want anything from the sto?" He asked over the commotion. Soon I was gathered by a bunch of people giving me there orders. I wasn't upset about that cause this was my job technically, I was taken back by Melly having a whole ass girlfriend. "Fill my tank while ya at it shawty!" Melly shouted as I was close to the door.

"Ohh and here's a tip sweetly." His girlfriend handed me a twenty dollar bill. I looked down at it and rolled my eyes as I took it. When I got to the hall I crumbled the twenty and threw it on the floor like it was regular garbage. I then turned back around to get that same twenty because it could be put into my savings. But still fuck her and her twenty dollars. I pressed the key to unlock the car door then was on my way to the corner store.

I walked in a lit up when I seen Nick from earlier. "You stalking me now?" He smiled. "I could ask you the same thing." I smiled. I was waiting for you to text or call low key." He smiled exposing his braces and that was cute as hell. "Yea could I actually get it again. Melly through it out the window." I looked down at the floor. "Ohh wow." He laughed as I handed him my phone. "Nick💙" is what he saved his number as. "Alright cool." I smiled and looked up at him. "I'm expecting a text tonight." He said before hugging me and leaving out the store.

Now I was left to get a bunch of people with the munchies there stuff.
