Calista takes a deep breath as she pulls out a piece of paper with a simple pen. For a few moments she sits there and debates whether or not to write back to Nik or not. Finally, she picks up the pen and closes her eyes for a split second.

I have received all of your letters, I just have no clue what I want to say to you. You forced me to embrace a side of me I never wanted to.
I appreciate the letters but quit sending them.
I do not want a written apology. I want a a family reunion. I want you to undagger Finn and Kol, Bekah, and 'Lijah. I want you to prove to me that your are not that evil man every one is trying to convince me you are.
I have changed, Nik, you do not know the new me. I'm not that playful child anymore.
I have to keep breathing, Nik. Even if it's without you. I thought I needed you to live but I'm perfectly capable of that on my own.

She folds the piece of paper and slides it into the envelope as Damon appears in the doorway. She closes her eyes and the letter disappears into thin air.
She feels Damon's breath on her neck as his lips touch her skin.
Calista takes in a sharp breath and tries to push the thoughts of Nik out of her head. But she can't help but wish it was Nik kissing her instead. Don't get her wrong, she desires Damon's touch, sje just desires Nik's more.
"I'm taking a road trip with someone, don't miss me too much," Damon smirks as she turns the spinny chair around.
"However will I survive without you, Mr Salvatore?"
"I don't know Miss Mikaelson," Damon responds and presses a long kiss to her lips. It feels wrong to kiss him but it also manages to feel so right.
"Be safe," She calls after him as he disappears from her bedroom.

Elena is kneeling next to Dana comforting her as Stefan enters the gymnasium, "Stefan..."
"Klaus," Stefan says as Calista makes her way in after Stefan does. She can feel his eyes on her as she raises one of her eyebrows at Nik. He watches as she makes her way to Elena.
