Chapter Four

—Last time—

She went back too sleep. I grabbed some tissues and cleaned her lips and mouth. I threw it away. I put the blanket over her.

I went too my chair and sat down. I adjusted myself and let the darkness consume me.

—Now—

Y/n POV

I had a nightmare and I immediately woke up. I adjusted my eyes and saw Maria sleeping still.

I looked at my alarm clock and it read '11 am.' I grabbed some clothes and went to the restroom too take a shower. As I freshened up and head out the door. I grabbed my notebook and tore a empty paper.

I wrote 'Hi Miss. Hill. This is Y/f/n you got drunk last night. Their is Advil and water. By the way nothing bad happened between us. Ps I also took care of you meaning your vomit.'

I put the note down and I grabbed the trash can and put it in the restroom. I stepped out of my room and closed the door.

I walked downstairs and saw Tony, Steve, and Bruce. They told me good morning and I told them back. Tony said "Did you have fun." I said "To be honest I kinda did." Steve said "But?"

I sighed and I saw Wanda and Nat together. I said "But Miss. Hill got drunk last night and I took care of her."

Nat grabbed my arm and she said "Who gave you this?" I said "Oh? Well Miss. Valkyrie. She's a nice women." I wrote it down and put it in my pocket.

She let go and I said "Doesn't matter anyways I don't think Miss.Valkyrie would like me that way. Anyways I'm hungry I'm going to buy breakfast. Bye!"

I quickly left the room. As I was outside and saw people talking, and laughing. I put my hoodie up mostly because the sun was blinding me.

I noticed that I didn't grab my wallet. I kinda just walked somewhere. I noticed something felt off mostly like someone was watching me.

I shrugged it off. I walked towards the diner and saw something in the corner of my eye. It was women who looked like she wasn't okay.

I turned around and walked towards her. I said "Excuse me. Miss. Are you okay?" She looked at me, but her eyes were different.

I said "Miss?" She said "No." I said "Want me too get help?" She said "Your a perfect mate." I titled my head and everything went too black.

—Two hours later—

I opened my eyes, but I felt my hands restrained. Also I felt my foot restrained as well. I looked around and saw darkness. Am I going to die? If I am then that's so cool. If a villain killed me then I'll be peace towards that.

The lights turned on and I saw a huge look like Venom, but different color. I said "What am I doing here?"

She didn't say anything. I said "Oh. I know your going to kill me." She snarled at me and she said "I won't kill mate. Your perfect."

I said "Then who's your host name." She looked shocked and she said "You know what we are?" I said "Yeah. You're a symboite possibly try too kill humans."

She said "Who are you?" I said "Right. My name is Y/f/n L/f/n. Nice too meet you Miss." She didn't seemed fazed and she said "We are Scream."

I saw the part of the human face. I said "Well nice too meet you Scream." She said "You don't care." I shook my head.

I said "I thought that a villain would kill me then I'll be fine with that." She hissed and she tore off the ropes. She said "Why?" I said "Because sometimes I have nothing to live for. Honestly I always wonder why I am even here?"

She hissed at me again and picked me up. She began too hug me and I petted her. She purred and turn back too her human form.

I did see the same women. The women said "Wait? I didn't kill you!?" I shook my head and I said "Honestly Scream told me she needed me as a mate. Whatever that means?"

She said "Are you that stupid! She means a lover." I said "Oh. I guess I did kinda wonder why she didn't kill me, but that's disappointing I wanted her too kill me."

She looked at me and she said "What?! Why do you want a symboite to kill you?!" I said "Not just a symboite. It could be any villain that wants people dead."

She said "What's wrong with you?!" I said "Honestly everything. Anyways who are you? I'm y/f/n." She looked shocked and she said "I'm Cathy Green."

I said "Well nice too meet you." I walked away. She said "Wait?!" She walked towards me and she told me that she knows where we are.

I said "Well okay." As we were walking and she said "Why do you want a villain too kill you?" I said "Because most of the time I just want to die."

She didn't say anything, but she said "Then how do you keep on going?" I said "Honestly I have no idea because everyday hurts. I mean mentally."

She said "Who hurt you?" I said "Everyone. I'm honestly broken at this point. So I was surprised that Scream wants me a mate, but if she didn't want me as a mate and she'll kill me. Then I'll be okay with that."

She hugged me. I didn't hug her, but I said "So why does Scream want me as a mate? I mean I'm not good with people. Meaning I'm a very dark and awkward person to be around with."

She took a step back and she said "Honestly Scream chose you for a reason and I don't know why, but she chose you because maybe she wants you too love her or she just wants you too know someone can be loved."

I laughed and I said "Maybe Scream wants someone or something too love her, but for me nobody can love me."

She said "Why?" I said "Like I told you. I'm broken and nobody can save even if they do want too save me. I'll push them away."
