It was 2 am when you heard footsteps. You were easily woken up by the noise since you were a light sleeper, and this made you a bit grouchy. Your husband Minho finally came home from touring, and you cherished every moment with him and your son, Doni. This even meant you cherished the moments when you all slept at the same time so you could also use as much evergy together as possible, and now that you've gotten up, that plan has now been foiled.
You turn to wake up Minho so he could scope out to see where the noise came from, but you saw he wasn't there. It wasn't odd to you, as he is a light sleeper also. You hear another thud, and start to get curious. 'It must be one of the cats again', you thought. As you stood up from out of bed and walked towards the door, you started to hear some shuffling and realized the noise was coming from Doni's room. Walking down the hallway you pass the bathroom and kitchen only to see the lights were off, and you still saw no sign of your husband.
You finally reached Doni's room, and you hear a tiny giggle. As you peek into Doni's room, you see Minho's figure creating elegant movements and some popular ones too. You then see Doni try to copy Minho's movements and realize all the noise was only your two goofballs having a dance party. You sit and watch in amazement for a few minutes to then interrupt. "Ah alright cuties, it's early, we need rest. The party can continue tomorrow." This startles both Minho and Doni as neither knew you were watching them. Minho chuckles,"Aish, alright Y/n, here I come. Goodnight son.".
With a small kiss from both you and Minho, Doni fastly drifts asleep as soon as his head touches the pillow. You and Minho lay back in bed. "Yanno,"Minho starts,"Doni might end up just like me some day. He actually is really good at dancing." You then say, "Yes, that means he didn't catch his mother's two left feet!" You both chuckle. "He caught his father's looks, his father's charm, his father's graceful movement. Like father like son, he sure is our tiny little dancer." Minho kisses you and wishes you goodnight before snuggling you and rubbing your arm as you both drift back to sleep for the rest of the night.
