"Did any one tell you that you look good in blue?" she staid quit, like always, he smiled "Well you do, it fits you better then your sister, she looks better in red." he walked to his bookshelf and grabbed a hard cover book and sat in his big chair in their room by the roaring fire, "It's too bad you have to stay in blue though, you look very beautiful in green." he sighed and gave Anna one last look, staring into her frozen blue eyes before turning his cold green ones to the book slipping his glasses on. Arendelle was back to normal once the ice Queen was dead, the only thing that staid frozen was the Princess, Hans was disappointed but he had her moved to his room so he could be with her when he was done and wouldn't be too lonely. He wandered if she could hear him when he spoke soft or harsh words to her, sometimes he would dance with her, humming their song gently and he wondered if she could hear that, too. Somedays he wonders who really has the frozen heart, of corse he says she does but then he thinks, thanks that maybe he does too, maybe he could have taken a different approach when she came to him cold as ice, maybe, he thinks, maybe the kiss might have worked, he finds himself so close to her but pulls away, why bother, she's already gone. He hates himself when he's alone, when he's with people he puts on a smile and if they bring up Anna he gives them a little story, but those story's hold a little truth, there's always truth within a lie. He was a good king, he did what was right for the people, that's all he ever wanted, he didn't need anyone to rule by his side, but he wish he did. Having her by his side was the best part of his plan, she would have made a beautiful Queen, but she's just the Frozen Princess. He sapped the book shut and set it on the side table, getting up he went to the fire place mantle and pored himself a glass of whiskey, sitting back down he rolled the liquid around in the glass before taking a sip. "You should thank me." he growled slouching more in his chair and loosely holding the glass, "If you unfreeze you'll realize I saved you from more lonely years by killing your sister. And don't think about running away to that mountain man, because if you do, I'll have him killed. Yes, if you unfreeze, you'll be my wife, you'll listen and obey me, come to my every call and stay by my side. Just like you do now." he stared at her, her frozen feet, her frozen dress, her frozen hair, her frozen eyes and her frozen lips, the lips he regretted not kissing, maybe he could have saved her, if he only tried. He shot up screaming, throwing the glass in the fire, the whiskey feeding it more, he got close to Anna's face and started yelling, "Why do you mock me?!" "All you do is stand there reminding me of my past! The times we spent together! How that witch froze your heart and I couldn't save you! How I chose power over love! How I failed!" he started crying "How I failed you!" he couldn't take it anymore, he roughly kissed her hard frozen lips, he imagined how soft they would be if he had done this before she froze. He broke away and hugged her, "I miss you Anna. Oh Anna, I love you." and then it happened, she started to thaw. He stepped back watching her come to life, once she was thawed she looked around "Where am I?" "Anna?" she looked at him, their eyes meeting "Hans?!" she was angry, hurt, confused and strangely happy to see him again, but before she do anything he hugged her again, "Your back. You were right, true love's kiss." she was shocked "Wait, what?" he laughed, he loved it when she said that, he let go and looked at her, "I saved you, I kissed you and you thawed." "Y-you saved me?" he nodded and her eyes lit up, so not everything was a lie, she hugged him "Oh Hans! I knew you could!" he hugged her back but his face fell, he walked to stand in front of the fire, "I'm King, Anna, I killed your sister and thawed the land. Before I said if you unfroze I would take you as my wife, but now that I see you, I don't deserve you." "Oh Hans." she stood next to him putting a hand on his arm, "I guessed that you killed her, I can tell by the crown, but you saved me. Hans you really are my true love no mater what." he turned his head to look at her, "Really? But Anna-" he was cut off by her placing a kiss on his lips, it was everything he imagined, and more, he rapped his arms around her and kissed her back. after they broke apart, he still had his arms around her, he asked "So you'll marry me then?" she nodded "Yes Hans, I love you." "I love you too." he kissed her again. Maybe he was the one with the frozen heart after all, because he felt himself thawing too.
