28. Millie returns

''We don't have Kara, or Sara, but we have to stop this before it gets any worse'' Oliver said. Barry agreed. This was a dangerous threat and they needed to stop it as soon as possible. With the people that we available. ''We need to start our plan'' Barry said. ''Then, let's go'' Felicity said and the 'geek squad' started working. ''It can't be that hard to find a half-god, right?'' Cisco asked. ''He's not a half-god, he just pretends he is'' Caitlin said.

''What are we going to do in the mean time?'' J'onn asked. ''I don't know. We have nothing to fight as long as we don't know where the Anti-Monitor is'' Barry said. Suddenly they heard something at the door. Someone was putting a key in the lock. And then that someone turned it. The door opened and a woman walked through. A really big woman. Everyone froze as they realized they were still in Marley's house. The woman looked confused. ''Who are you and what are you doing in my house?'' she asked, slightly scared. ''We are friends with your daughter'' Barry said immediately. The woman needed to trust them and not kick them out. They had no where else to go. ''And where is Marley?'' the woman asked. ''She is currently-'' Barry looked quick at the clock before he continued. ''she is at school. She's still in glee club.'' The woman nodded slowly. ''So why are you all here?'' she asked, looking at that many people she couldn't count within a few seconds. ''We were actually waiting for her to return'' Oliver said. ''You are all adults.'' the woman said suspicious. ''We are-'' Oliver had nothing for that, but Barry finished his sentence: ''We are her vocal coaches.''

''All of you? I didn't know she needed one, what is wrong with her voice?''

''We are the vocal coaches and the others are other people who want to be better at singing. It's for every age'' Barry said. ''So what is wrong with her voice?''

''Nothing, she just wants to put more time in her hobby's''

''And you all need to be here, now?''

''Kinda. We are waiting for her to come home so we can practice.''

''I just came from the hospital. She hasn't visited me in days.''

''Nationals were in Detroit this year. She went there with her school.''

''We don't have money for those things.''

''The school paid for it'' Barry smiled. ''Can you please be a little quiet?''

''Of course, ms. Rose.''

''Please, call me Millie'' the woman smiled. ''Of course. I am Barry and this is Oliver.''

''You look kinda familiar'' Millie looked at his face. ''Oh, I have, you know, one of those faces.''

''I'm gonna make pizza, do you want some?''

''We would love that'' Barry smiled. He was kinda hungry. ''Well, I don't have enough for all of you...'' Millie sighed. ''It's okay. We will get the pizzas. I saw there was a pizza place around the corner'' Barry said and he and Oliver left the house.

"Tell us what is going on!" Sara yelled through the loud sounds. "I am really scared right now" Marley breathed heavily. "It's gonna be fine, I'll handle this" Kara said and stepped away. She left Sara and Marley alone for a few seconds. Those seconds they were vulnerable. They couldn't see the enemy. He could attack them any moment. "Where did he go?" Kara asked as everything was silent. But suddenly the sound appeared again and then they heard Marley scream. And after that Kara heard Sara yell. "Go to hell son of a-" but Sara couldn't even finish her sentence. Kara used her x-ray vision. She saw it. She startled. She recognized him. "Do something, Kara!" Marley cried. Kara froze.

''Kara!'' Sara yelled in pain. Kara ignored her thoughts. She used her heat vision to hurt the person who was attacking them. He fell on his back. Kara walked to him. ''I remember you'' she said. ''I remember you too, you're one of the Zor-El family'' he responded. ''What are you doing on earth?'' Kara asked. ''I could ask you the same thing. You're planet died. Mine did as well. Because of the wars. The wars for this. And now I have it.''

''I didn't think so'' Kara said as she held the cure for Alex in the air. He hadn't even noticed it when she took it from him. ''How-'' but he didn't say anything else. He stood up, ready to fight the Kryptonian. He blocked her heat vision. It didn't hurt him. ''What the-'' Kara mumbled. He used his arm as a shield. Then he walked closer to Kara and hit her. He was super strong and Kara landed on the ground metres away. She sighed. He was stronger than she'd remembered. Kara didn't give up either. She stood up, sped to him and fought him. It was a painful battle. Sara and Marley were powerless against them.

Kara used her heat vision again and she walked closer to him. He was getting weaker. When she was close enough she could touch his face, she hit him. He landed metres back. They heard him groan. Kara walked quickly to Marley and Sara. She carried Marley to the light. Only then they could see the real wounds and bruises.

Sara's head wound was bleeding again. Because there were loose stones in the cave she had several bruises and wounds on her arms and legs. Nothing compared to her previous injuries. Marley on the other hand thought she was dying. Small stones got into her ear and it was bleeding. She had also several bruises and wounds on her legs and arms. But for Marley this was a lot. She was crying. ''Please make... me stop... suffer'' she said and kept crying. ''It's okay'' Kara said and pulled her into a hug. That was the first time in a long time Marley had hugged anyone. It calmed her down a bit, but it didn't ease the pain. ''It's okay, we'll take care of you'' Sara said. She ignored her pain. ''We have to go to a hospital'' Marley said. ''We can't. They'll ask questions, like how did you get those wounds and why were you in a freaking cave'' Sara said. ''We'll take you home. We have a lot of experience in medial stuff. And the others too. There will be someone who can help you'' Kara said. ''We don't have that much time and we will stand out'' Sara said. ''I'll fly her home. After that, I'll come get you'' Kara suggested. Sara nodded. It was okay. She could survive for several minutes. ''Couldn't we do that on the way here?'' Marley asked. ''No, tha- no.''

Kara said goodbye to Sara and flew Marley home at super speed.
