"What?" "Oh, sorry Professor please continue" I say blushing profusely,

"Thanks so kindly for for your permission" Professor Snape says dryly "Detention 8o'clock sharp tonight, my office."

"Yes sir" I respond keeping my eyes focused on my notes

"As I was saying when adding the wolfsbane to your potion it must be off the fire or else it will explode, not that it matters to you Mr.Finnigan seeing it happens anyways" he says catching sight of Seamus chatting with Neville. " 10 points from Griffindor''

I sigh in relief as the attention moves from me to the boys, I then go back to hiding under my my long, dyed black hair. Even though I'm a Slytherin I've never been fond attention good or bad but that is a story for another time........

*after class

"Hey Nadia" says my one and only friend Ivy

" Hullo Ivy" I respond I feel guilty for not telling her my secret but I know it is a burden I have to keep to myself

''Guess what I got on my charms test!" she asked obviously excited

"A t?" I responded with a smirk

"Ah! I am appalled you think that lowly of me, I got an o!" she said clearly to excited to have a come back I knew how important grades were to her and that if her grades got to low her parents would send her to Beauxbaton

"That's great!" I said

she beamed in response then noticing my flushed face asked "Spill it"

"I don't know what you are talking about

"What guy has finally captured my dear Nadia's heart?" she said with a knowing look

"I-I-I don't know what you are talking about" I replied as we made it into the great hall

"Uh huh suuuuure" she said rolling her eyes "You are going to have to tell me sometime"

"I know" I sighed she just smirked in reply knowing she had won the argument

then I remembered my detention with....him.... inwardly sighing, I Nadia Rosa Simmons had a crush on Professor Severus Snape
