Prologue

A gunshot echoed around the place, while Francheska is walking in a dark alley. Out of curiosity, she followed the noise of the gunshot and ended up witnessing something she should have never seen.

A war between businessmen, that is what this is all about. Businessmen who hold no grudge against each other, yet they are destined to be each other's foe. They hold no grudge, but they are supposed to kill whoever they want to rip off from the company.

Some kind of competition. A competition where you need to convince a group of individuals in the whole company, to tear one person, even if he is the owner and founder of that very company.

Francheska, who saw the murdering incident, was suddenly filled with terror. Her body was shaking up to the bones. She started taking a step backward, she just wanted to run away and forget what she saw, but a very unwanted scene happened.

She stepped at an already cracked wood, that she never thought that is there the whole time. While the wood is making a noise in the whole area, Francheska who is almost dying because of nervousness, thought that this is the time she will die.

She thought that the gods whom she served for her everyday life, abandoned her at that very moment.

"I'm screwed!" She thought. "Even if I ran away from her, my whole life will be in hell!"

She unconsciously runs for her life, even though she never thought that it would be possible to get out of such a situation.

"What was that?!" One of the men from the enemy's side mumbled. What are you waiting for? Chase whoever that bitch is, or we'll all be damned!"

The whole crew stood in shock for a while, when another gunshot echoed, that became their que and they started chasing for the girl.

Francheska on the other side, ran as fast as she can as if her whole life depended on it. Well, it's actually true. But she ran like she never did before, she ran like there's never tomorrow.

"I'm gonna run, no matter where, no matter how far my feet bring me. I will run, I will survive no matter what. I will because I think I know who the dead man I just saw is. I will run away until this whole life happening will be buried in silence. I will run for my life!"
