Behind The Door

Day 1

It was a cold morning in Seattle and my mom was already packing up for us to move to Matheson, Massachusetts. I was having mixed feelings about the move but, ever since dad had died we weren't really able to live here anymore. My uncle owned a house but when my mother showed me the picture I almost choked. It was MASSIVE I never thought my uncle would own such a thing. I was listening to music but then Bode just randomly barged in like he always does.

Bode:

Bode is a six-year-old boy, a very curious and adventurous boy. I honestly don't know what else to tell you so just keep on reading.

"Kass!!! Did You See The House Yet?! Did You?!" He jumped on my bed without any hesitation which got really annoying. "Ugh, Bode Please Stop Bouncing On Top Of My Bed!" I pushed him off hitting the floor full of clothes. "Jeez since when did you get so cranky?" He put on his annoying pouty face that always used to work on me when dad was still alive and we were all a happy family. "That won't work on me anymore Bode, Just Leave Me Alone!" I carried him out into the hallway and shut the door closed. I locked it and started at my drawings. I looked at them but they didn't look right. Bode knocked on my door telling me it was time to go. I got all my stuff and headed out. I asked my mom about my bed and she said that the movers will move it into their van later. It was a long drive but I spent the way drawing. We drove in silence until Bode opened his mouth. "Serious Question: Do you think there's a ice cream parlor?" 

"Bode, There's Always Ice Cream Anywhere We Go Just Calm Down."

"You Don't Know That Kass." He made that stupid face again

"If it makes you feel better we can always ask."

"Oh Alright."

I sighed at the thought that I might never see Kelly again. I just hoped that something would happen so that I could see her again. I loved Kelly as if she was my sister we would always mess around in class and pass notes to each other. I just wish that I never left Seattle it just wasn't fair. My thoughts were interrupted by Bodes dumb bickering

"I want Ice Cream Not Cookies!"

"Bode! Will You Ever Just Shut Up?!?!"

We went silent..
