The light was blinding but memorizing. The beautiful crack in the air felt like it was calling my name. A deep voice screaming at me to step back but I wanted to go forward. In the crack was pure black but it was leading me to it. A hand grabbed me pulling me back but the light filled the room completely, blinding me in the process.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw darkness, the moonlight shining lightly on the trees around me. A yellow light catching my eyesight as a campfire was lit. A woman screaming caught me off guard and I slowly crept through the forest.

"Hello?" I yell and see two men standing by the fire face towards me. They quickly ran toward me as a large creature fell from the trees in front of me. It caught on fire and one man stood with a flare gun.

"Who the hell are you?" The shorter man walked towards me and I backed up. I tried to think but nothing was coming up.

"W- well there was this guy that kept yelling Y/n. Wh- why can't I remember?" I looked down looking at my hands.

"What do you mean a guy yelling? You seem to be the only one around." The taller one stepped forward and I took another step back.

"There was this light an- and crack in the air and then it exploded and now I'm here." I look around and try to put any pieces together.

"Look you should come with us. We have a friend that may be able to help." The taller one ran his hand through his older.

"I don't know you guys and you just shot that alien, plus I heard a woman screaming so if I know any better you guys are some psychos." I cross my arms.

"Look that 'alien' was a wendigo and it can mimic human screaming. You can only kill it with fire. I'm Sam, this is Dean, we hunt monsters. Now you better come with us otherwise you are on your own." Dean was watching my every move as I shifted and nodded. I followed them to their site as they collected their things.

I stared at the fire. The feeling of a hand on my arm and I placed my hand over it to feel nothing.

'Phoenix, you have to step back now. we don't know what that is!'

'Y/n, come on we have to go!'

"Y/n, you okay?" Sam looked at me from across the fire.

"Yeah, just I was called Phoenix too, and the man grabbed my arm before the explosion. He sounded fearful and I'm trying to figure out who he is." I helped him put out the fire as Dean lead the way to their car.

I walked beside Dean and watched our surroundings. "I'm surprised your not freaked out by the fact we hunt monsters." He mumbled and readjusted his duffle.

"For some odd reason, I don't think that is the craziest thing to happen to me." I watched the ground as we continued walking.

"Look, we have a friend that might be able to jog some of those memories and figure out who you are. For the time being, we will need to do some tests to prove you are human." I nodded and crossed my arms.

We finally arrived to their car and I got into the backseat while the men talked outside. More like argued, not a lot of talking. I laid down feeling darkness and exhaustion overcome me.

I stood over an alien pulling my sword out of its back. I looked up to see a tall figure with striking green eyes. His helmet having long curved horns. He smirked and brought the staff to my chest. A look of disappointment crossed his face.

"Strange, that usually works." He mumbled, his accent catching me off guard.

"I'm not like anyone else, Loki."
