Chapter 9

Seth POV

It's been 2 days since Roxi turned into a vampire. I'm not really mad at her, because it was her choice. But she had just ripped up her whole human life. Just thinking about that made me mad. But as long as she was happy, I was happy. I walked into the kitchen, "morning!" She seemed very happy. "Pancakes?" "You know me so well", I couldn't help but smirk. She turned to get the mix, but froze. "Roxi? Roxi! Roxi?! Answer me!" She fell to the ground, I ran over she was still breathing. "Mum!" "Yes" 'Roxi's out I'm taking her to the hospital!" I ran all the way to the hospital. I turned to the first doctor, "my girlfriend just fainted!" "Ok ok calm down", he called over a stretcher and I placed her down. "Is she a new vampire?", I nodded. "How long?" "Two days and 6 hours." "Ok go take a seat in the waiting room", I did as he said and fell into the first seat I saw. I sunk into the seat. One second she was fine the next she was out cold. I could fell my eyes watering. My parents and Blake sat beside me. After 2 hours of waiting the doctor came out. "Who here for Roxi?", we all stood up. "Is she ok?" "Yes she's stable now." "What was wrong?" "We'll her body wasn't accepting the change to a vampire well. So we extracted the vampire blood. But there were parts we couldn't." "What?" "Well because she is half and half. She was already immortal and we figured out by myths and legends. That you can only change her at 19 and she is a special kind of half and half." He looked rather nervous and his voice was shaky. "What special kind?" "I will take you to a private room." He led us towards a small room.

So let me get this straight, So I change her she can't be human again. If I don't she will have the choice of human and if she chooses human she can't change to a vampire ever.

Roxi's POV

I fluttered my eyes open I tried to sit up right but I was held down. I pulled again and again. But they wouldn't budge. It was just leather and even though I'm a vampire I can't break through it. "She's up!", I heard a nurse yell down the hall. Seth with his vampire speed ran into my room and stood right beside me. "OhthankgodyourokIwassoworriedIthoughtyouweregoingtodie!", I didn't understand a word he said. "Calm down and breath Seth I'm fine. Now repeat S-L-O-W-E-R", I spelled out the last word so he would understand. "Oh thank God your ok", he continued,"I was so worried I thought you were going to die!" He pulled me into a hug. "Seth can't bree-ath",he let go so I could catch my breath. "Can you undo these things please", a lady in the corner walked over towards me. "Will you cooperate with us?" "Who's us?" A group of young looking vampires walked in. She put out her arm to show what she meant. "Who are you?"

"You chose to be vampire and it came with strength, speed, compulsion and an extra power." They all nodded in union. I blonde vampire walked forward, "I can wipe anyone's memories and give them back to them as well." I man stepped forward this time, "I'm a jumper so in other words I can teleport anywhere." "I can read minds." "I'm an element user." The lady stepped forward, "I have all these powers and more", I don't understand how she can have so many. "She's a different kind of vampire like you. Which means its likely for you to get these powers to." "So what does that have to do with me?" "We'll there are vampires called snatchers. They try to steal our powers and..." "Your too easy to find us?", Seth but in. The leader nodded. "We think the snatchers are working together. There are around 20 we know of and they are trying to steal my powers which means that if you turn and have these powers. They will steal yours." A vampire who was the quietist walked forward. "Once you trust them you lose your powers", I sad expression crossed his face. "I lost my powers to them and I want them back!" "Calm down." "How do you get them back", this was turning out to be interesting. "You kill the snatcher and all the vampires get their powers back", his eyes turned a deep red. "So in other words you want me to help fight after my 19th birthday?" "And Seth." Hmm well my birthday is only in 2 days. I have to make a decision before then and I also have to learn to use the powers. "Ok" "Ok?! Roxi your throwing away your human life. To fight with vampires against other vampires which could result in you dying!!" "Hmm yes yes I am. You'll be with me though. It's for a good reason and I will probably have all the powers sooo I have more defense and offense." Seth was speechless,he just stood there staring. "In 2 days I can join you", cause I'm turning vampire at 19.
