Sakura woke up and yawned, she stretched for a few seconds then got up. she could hear faint arguing from across the house. She sighed and got dressed in her uniform and grabbed her backpack. She was walking to school. She was a little early waking up so she went to go get a snack by a gas station. She grabbed a bag of chips and a water bottle. The cashier questioned the collar around her neck. "I wear it for style" but honestly, she completely forgot she had it on some times. Sakura flicked her tail and paid for her items. She left the gas station and saw one of the kids from the entrance exam. It was Ochako Ururaka.
"Hey!" Sakura caught up and walked beside her.
"I saw you at the entrance exam."
"Yeah," Ururaka replied. "I saw you too."
"Your quirk is really cool," Sakura smiled. They walked and talked together until they got to the school Ururaka saw Midoriya and went up to talk to him. Sakura was walking by herself .
Meanwhile, Jun had headed out of her house rather late. She took the public bus to school, and had to practically run the rest of the way to class. By the time she got there, the whole class was talking to each other. Jun took a mental note of the majority of the people in there. Her eyes surfed over the small sea of students before her gaze landed on Sakura. Jun felt a smile creep up onto her face as she noticed Sakura making new friends with a brunette and a boy with a messy, green bundle of hair. Instead of interrupting her childhood friend, Jun sat elsewhere in the classroom. More specifically right next to a raging blonde-haired boy. His personality was more explosive than his hair style, and his face screamed "I'm a rotten thief." Jun just sat there in complete silence, and the blonde did the same, but occasionally somebody would come talk to him. Which only sent him spiralling into another fit of anger and rage. The green haired boy was talking about all might to the point where Sakura zoned out staring at his fluffy hair. It looked soft and fluffy like a cloud. It was mainly messy but I guess he didn't mind. Suddenly a guy with black hair walked in and he had a yellow sleeping bag with him. I guess the green-haired boy recognized him because he had a huge smile on his face. Sakura went back to her seat, which was somewhat behind Jun's. The teacher ,who presented himself as Shouta Aizawa , took the class out to the field for a quirk apprehension test.
When the class arrived outside at the field in the short time they had to get changed into their UA gym uniforms, Aizawa-sensei briefed the class on what they were to do. The test was comprised of 8 physical examinations of their and their quirk's strengths. These examinations included the 50-metre dash, the standing long jump, repeated side steps, ball throw, grip strength, a distance run, seated toe-touches and sit-ups. Sakura and Jun both found it blatantly ridiculous, and they probably weren't the only ones, that they skipped the orientation just because UA had different freedoms than other highschools, allowing their teacher to use the "I can run my class however I want," card. The fact that this evaluation was so sudden added to the idiocracy of it all. To put a cherry on top of it all, Eraserhead announced that the student who comes in last place will be deemed unfit to be in UA High due to their lack of potential. This led to that unfortunate soul's immediate expulsion. Suddenly, the pressure was on. Some of the other students were enraged, others terrified, and some nervous. This wasn't just hero school anymore, this was success or failure.
Sakura was shocked, she glanced over at Jun appeared to be surprised-almost even fear stricken. Sakura scanned the crowd of students and observed their expressions. Everyone in the class looked stressed and scared. They all knew this would be no easy competition. There was indistinct chatter. Aizawa-Sensei interrupted and started calling up students to do the 50-metre dash.
Aizawa-sensei pulled up the results on a giant holographic board. Sakura did fairly well, thanks to her cat-like agility. But Jun scored low because of her quirk. More importantly, the kid who scored last was the green-haired one. He looked terrified, he was shaking and looked desperate.
"Oh yeah, and the whole expulsion thing was a lie. It was a logical ruse to bring out your best efforts." The class rioted.
