Hiro Hamada x reader ~oneshots~

(1) Ugh, sickness.

~quick note; okay so over the past few weeks I've been coughing horribly, and I've felt really weak. So, I came up with this idea for a oneshot. Hope you guys like it.~

You sat at your desk, staring at your computer screen as you scrolled through (insert random internet page here). Your eyes were weak, but you knew you'd be unable to sleep even if you tried. So... Why not play around on the computer?
You inhaled sharply, and a cough escaped you, feeling as if it would completely shatter your lungs.
You had missed a whole week of school due to being sick, and you were beginning to think that you'd never get better.
Although you liked being out of school and all, you did miss being able to go out and be with your friends; one boy in particular.
You had developed a slight crush on one of your friends named Hiro, and it was hard to hide your nervousness around him. But, to your surprise, he never seemed to notice it.
You suddenly heard footsteps coming to your door, so you quickly slammed your laptop shut and leaped into your bed.
A knock at the door signaled that it wasn't your mother coming to check on you... Because she wouldn't knock. She'd just barge right in. ((Me: does ANYONE ELSE have this problem? My mother does it all. The. Time.))
"Come in!" You rasped, muffling a cough.
The door opened to reveal a slim, black-haired boy, about your age. His brown eyes glittered with worry.
"(Y/n)?" He stepped into your room, closing the door behind him. "How are you feeling?"
"Besides the fact that I'm coughing my lungs out, I'm fine." You muttered.
He made his way to the side of the bed, sitting down at the bottom.
"You should go to the doctor." He advised.
You hadn't went to the doctor for your sickness, since you thought it was just a simple cold. Which was most likely true... Except... Maybe it was a bit more intense.
"I'd... rather... not," you coughed in between words. "It'll go away... Eventually."
He blinked. "It will go away faster if you go to the doctor and get some medicine."
You shook your head. You hated the doctors.
"Fine.." He huffed. "But promise me that if you aren't feeling any better by next week, you'll go."
You let out a raspy sigh before nodding reluctantly. "I promise."
His eyes lit up, and he seemed a bit relieved. "Good."
You smiled weakly, trembling slightly. You must have had a fever, because it felt oddly cold.
Hiro slid under the covers next to you, making your face turn blood red.
"What are you doing?" You slightly gasped.
"You look cold." He said simply, before pulling you closer to him.
You stayed there, stunned for a moment, before allowing yourself to relax.
"You'll get sick too, though," you muttered.
"Oh well," he smiled. "It's fine as long as I have some excuse to be this close to you."
You blushed even more at his comment.
"Besides, if I'm sick, that'll mean you have to do the same for me." He chuckled.
You closed your eyes, smiling slightly. "Sounds good to me."
